-Rey's POV-
It's been a week since I beat Ben at the claw machine. Han pays me nicely and I always get Saturday off.

I get up and head to the funeral home as Saturday tradition. My knee length black dress blows up in the morning wind and I pull my headphones out as I reach the stairs.

I'm handed a phaplet and take my normal seat in the last row.

"Good Morning everyone. Today we gather to celebrate the life of Sarah Beaker."

I open the phaplet and see a picture of a young girl with brown hair and matching brown eyes smiling.

I take a deep breathe and glance around at who I think is her family. I'll pretend she was my long lost sister. She could have been for all I know.

Her family takes about her and how much hope she had and then plays a slideshow with photos of her growing up... and being in the hospital with cancer.

The room becomes bleak and I feel the tears building up. I'm sorry I couldn't take your place Sarah.

Her family is crying and I feel the tears begin streaming down my face.

The services end after an hour. I begin my walk home.

R:Hey, I'm heading home.

F:Job sent a new game. Wanna make a couple extra bucks and play multi-player?

R:Get paid to play new video games that aren't on the market? What do u think?

F: Good cause I just got it set up for you.

R: Dude I want your job.

F: You can have it when I die.
...
F: Nah, I know how much it sucks to have to play new video games for a living and rate them. Ugh, such hard work.

R: Okay Mr. Pro Game Reviewer, I'm almost home.

I slide my phone into my jacket pocket and cross the street. I walk pass my new work and nod at Han through the window. He gives a slight wave and goes back to work.

I reach the front door of our apartment complex and walk in to the mail room.

I'm struggling to get my keys out of my purse when I realize I'm not alone. I look up and see Ben getting his mail out.

He looks up and sees me looking at him. "Hey Scavenger."

"Hey." I finally pull my keys out. I jiggle the key into the small door.

"Why didn't you tell me you lived in the same building as me?"

"Didn't realize it until I thought you were following me home."

"Well I always walk a girl home after a date."

"That wasn't a date." I close the small mail door.

"You had pizza, I had a beer, and we played in the arcade. That sounds like a date." He shuffles through his mail.

"Finn bought my pizza and you didn't pay for me to kick your ass." I smile.

"Well I consider it a date and would love to take you out again." He looks up at me.

"Is that your sly way of asking me out?" I look away and shuffle through my own mail.

"Possibly." Ben smirks

"The anwsers no." I pull my keys from the door and leave the room.

"How bout a third date then?" I hear as I walk up the stairs.

"We haven't even had our first or second date yet."

"Actually we just had our second."

"What? How?" He is so confusing.

"We just talked privately and now I'm walking you home."

"No, you're following me again."

"I bet you wore that dress and purposely just happened to go get the mail when I did."

"Don't flatter yourself." I reach the third floor where my place is.

"Well I think we just had a good second date." I turn and face him.

"When we haven't even been on a date yet?" I raise my eyebrows at him.

"Yet?" He smiles.

"What? No."

"You said yet. Meaning you accept."

"I am not going out with you."

"Not now at least. Now go on place your key in the door, go inside and I'll be here at 7 pm for our date tonight."

"Don't tell me what to do Ben." I pull out my phone.

R: Come get the door.

I slide my phone away.

"Who did you text?"

"None of our business." I put my keys in my purse and shift my weight.

"You're stubborn you know?"

"Yeah, tell me about it."

"Well let's see. You have to always win, you never reveal yourself too much, and..." The door opens behind me.

"Thanks Finn." I step inside and Finn walks away awkwardly. "So please tell me how much longer are you going to persist the Stubborn Scavenger?"

"I know where you live and where you work. But did you really text your roommate to open the door because I told you too?"

"You don't own me Ben Solo." I smile and shut the door on him.
