Peter liked to watch Cassie shuffle the deck of white cards in her hands when she was bored.
Cassie liked to watch Peter when he stuttered and played with his hair when he was nervous.
But that was it.
After Cassie mysteriously disappeared, no one seemed to care about the missing girl, she was invisible for everyone and everything in the school. But Peter cared, he really did, and he liked to see her. Cassie wasn't invisible for him.
What Peter didn't know was that Cassie had been recruited by a vile, wicked organization called HYDRA, and he didn't know that both Harding siblings were being tortured to the point of ending unconscious on the cold, empty cells.
What Peter did know was that his new friend could help him find her, and he did know that after everything was better, he would confess his feelings for her.
After all, Peter was Spider-Man. Thanks to that accident with the spider, he had acquired incredibly powers he never thought he would ever have. His reflects had increased to the limit, and if someone would throw a ball at him, he would expect it. But he didn't expect when Cassie hated him for saving her and not her brother. He didn't expect her to turn her back at him and run to Captain America.
