Pickup lines

Maya's POV:

I had just taken my textbooks out of my locker only to be startled by someone leaning behind it

"Are you a parking ticket cause you have fine written all over you....." the voice says smirking

I roll my eyes

"Farkle that is so over used.....I'm disappointed at how bad your pickup lines have gotten......." I say crossing my arms

He chuckles "ok ok I admit that was a stretch but how about this one.....-?" He says trailing off as we walk into class

"It's a good thing I have my library card, because I'm totally checking you out......" he says looking over at me subtly checking me out

I hit the back of his head and say "eyes up here buddy......"

He smiles back up at me

I roll my eyes and take a seat with him following behind me

"Farkle your lines are getting worse....." I say turning to him

He huffs and says "hey atleast I'm making an effort......"

I chuckle and say "I could do way better......"

He raises a brow "I'd think not....."

Now it was my turn to raise a brow "I could beat you anytime any day..."

He scoffs "your on......"

"What happens if I win?" I ask squinting at him suspiciously

He shrugs

"We will choose what we want"

I nod

"It's on......" we say simultaneously

We were the first ones in the class and there was 15 minutes left till class actually starts

"Do you have a bandaid cause I just scraped my knees falling for you....." I say starting off the battle

He smirks "not bad....."

I smile and nod

"Do you have a map? Because I'm getting lost in your eyes......" he replies his voice hinting a seductive edge to it

I give a small smile

"Are you a fruit? Because Honeydew you know how fine you look right now?" I reply smirking

He tries to hide his oncoming smile but fails

"Can I take a picture of you to prove to my friends angels do exist?" He asks his eyes beaming

My heart strings tug

What was that....?

I shake my head

"My doctor says that I'm lacking Vitamin U" I say looking him up and down

He smiles a goofy smile and says "Forget about Spider-Man, Superman, And Batman, I'll be your man......." he says his voice having sincerity in it

I smile

Pickup lines had always been our thing, and I loved them, I just pretended that I hate them so he would keep telling me them to try and make me 'like' them

"Hey aren't you in my class? I'm pretty sure we have chemistry together....." I respond after recovering

"Impressive, I guess I should step up my game......" he says cracking his knuckles

"Try your worst......." I grit

"As a scientist I'm qualified to say that your body is 65% water, and I'm thirsty....." he says winking

I gasp and hit his arm "hey that was dirty!!"

"You know it was good....." he says smirking once again

I roll my eyes because it was actually kinda good

"Hey I might not go down in history but I'll definitely go down on you....." I reply with a wink as well

He snickers and I roll my eyes

I get up to throw away my breakfast which I had finished in the class while waiting for it to start

"Hey I heard your grades were bad, so I'm sure one more D wouldn't hurt....." I heard him say and I turned to him surprised to only find him staring smugly

"I'm impressed farkle....." I say still standing with my hands on my hips

He stood up and walked over to me

"What are you doing....?" I ask backing up as he kept making advances

"Maya I can't keep telling pickup lines if your not getting the hint......" he says huskily into my ear

I shiver at the coolness of his breath against my skin

"Don't you think I've caught on by now?" I ask softly

His hands wrap around my waist and pulls me in close

I breathe in his scent of pine and winter breeze

"You know I've loved you Maya......-" he says trailing off

"Yes farkle.......I love you too....." I mumble into his shirt

I feel his shoulder shake as he chuckles

We stood there in each other's embrace until we heard someone clear their throats

"Umm am I interrupting something....?" We hear a voice ask

We jump apart to see Mr.Matthews staring at us with his eyebrows raised

"Uhh....ahem uh no, no your not....." Maya stutters backing away from me

He nods his head unbelieving

"Can you not say anything?" I ask

His looks over at us and sighs giving a small smile

"Your going to tell them yourselves...."

We nod

"Sit down...." he instructs

We smile and sit in our seats as the bell rings and students file in to the class

Riley walks in hand in hand with Lucas and takes a seat

"Hey peaches anything new?....."

I smile "hi honey and uh I'd like to think so......"

She smiles and says "bay window?"

I nod

And with that Mr.Matthews starts the lesson
