Chapter 22 - Broken Alpha

A/N: I apologize for the wait:)

.

"I'm fine" I say for the hundredth time. I was sitting up, already yanking the clothes that Will brought me after I asked. The pack doctor, Peter, was trying to keep me in bed. He was saying that I should be observed, I should be treated, I should be cared for. It fucking pissed me off. I pushed off the bed and slowly stood, my legs tingling when I stepped on them. Fuck, I hadn't walked in... forever? I still didn't know how long I was gone. Probably a few weeks. Will slides his arm around me, even after I give him a glare, and leads me from the room, "I said I'm fine" I snarl when he followed. "I can walk myself" I snarl to Will.

He doesn't let me go, for which I was a little glad because I knew I wouldn't be able to walk all the way by myself. So he and I make our way to the meeting room, where I immediately see everyone inside, turning to me, "Milo" dad starts in his reprimanding voice. "You should be laying down, resti-"

"No" I say as I move from Will, my knees buckling before Will gripped me up again, tighter. I clench my jaw as he leads me to a chair beside Aaron and I sink down while curling my fists, "I've been laying down for a long time. I'm done laying down. Now what's going on? How did you find me?"

Aaron rubs his neck and sighs, "Well, after your... call... we contacted a couple packs and asked around for any abandoned houses- or areas where we could find one. Took a while for us to check them all, but when we found the one you... were kept in, it was pretty easy to follow their tracks. Milo-"

"A long time?" I frown slowly, licking my lips, "How long exactly?"

Aaron pauses as looks at the table and I hear another familiar voice. My eyes raise to Gage, who I was just a little glad to see, "How long do you think it has been since your call?" he asks instead, tilting his head as if he knew something.

I sigh and run my fingers through my hair before shaking my head with a shrug of my shoulders, "Two days, three. Why the hell do you ask?"

He tilts his head back, Aaron letting out a small sound. "Milo, its been almost a week and a half since your call."

I blink up at him, my lips parting a little, before I turn away with a clench of my jaw. No fucking way. It couldn't have been that fucking long. I was going to kill him when I see him. Mark was going to fucking pay. I lick my lips slowly before rolling my jaw a little, "Okay" I finally say and inhale slowly. I had to know. "How long have I been gone?" I ask almost numbly. "Well?" I demand when no one answers.

I turn to Aaron and his throat works quickly, "Almost three months" he whispers.

My lips part in shock and I stare at him for any indication if he was lying. When I don't see one, I turn back to the table while studying it. No. He... he had me for three fucking months? God. He did what he wanted to me... for three months? I close my eyes while letting out a small breath, wishing now to be numb. As soon as I thought that, though, a small fire slowly flickered in my throat... and I found myself aching for another dose.

"Milo... what happened to you?" Aaron asks softly, reaching to touch my arm but I flinch away from it, holding my breath when I realized I'd done it. He moves his hand back, "Milo, what did he... did he..." he trails off.

"Fuck me?" I ask in a sneer, raising my eyes to his sad ones. "Go on. Ask it. You know you want to" I spit out, curling my fist because I knew I was being a dick. I just couldn't help it. I close my eyes a little, "Well he didn't" I finally say, almost numbly. "He didn't want to. He wanted a fucking audience" I spit out, turning my glare to his, "So no. He didn't fuck me, Aaron. No one fucked me." Hurt flashes in his eyes and I lean forward, rubbing my face as I exhaled slowly, "I'm sorry" I finally whisper, shaking my head, "I don't know what happened, okay? I have memory of waking up with everything hurting so fucking much.
