Call For Help

   Steve's nerves are frayed.

  Two stops and no sign of the woman called Yelena Belova.

  Tony puts the Quinjet on autopilot and turns in his seat "I'm about ready to give the whole thing up"

   "Not an option" Steve says "If Yelena is heading this whole operation, we need her alive."

   "We did flush out two Hydra bases" Tony shrugs.

   The two recruits, She-Hulk, who was temporarily filling in for the Thing at the Baxter Building and Beast, one of Charles Xavier's alumni, share a look.

   "What did Nick tell you about Yelena?" Beast scratches the armrest with his long claws.

   Wanda winces at the screeching sound it makes and uses telekinesis to bat his hand away.

   "Yelena is from the Red Room program. She and Nat had a falling out when Natasha tried to turn her from a life of espionage." Sam rattles of the facts, eyes half closed "You know anything about her, Barnes?"

   The Winter Soldier glares at Sam through thick tousled hair "Never met her but she trained under Natasha for a little while. The Super Soldier program didn't really mix with the Red Room program."

   "So we're out here chasing rabbits, literally!" She Hulk frowns.

   "With S.H.I.E.L.D. dismantled we don't have access to the same information." Steve explains "Since the Accords, law enforcement is hesitant to work with us, and the bureaucrats are only worried about how to restrict us so we don't get too powerful"

   Tony presses his lips together. As per his obligations to the Accords, he planned to report the whole situation to General Ross, but he'd come to seriously dislike the crotchety old general, and amused himself by putting him on hold until he hung up.

    "Sir" Friday interrupts Tony's thoughts"Urgent message from Y/N!"

   Steve glances up.

   Tony presses a button and your voice projects over the planes speaker "What's up, Y/N?"

   "Tony?" You sound afraid "T-there's a problem in the hospital lobby. I thought I heard gunshots earlier and they put all the floors on lock down."

   "Oh My God!" Wanda sits up "Its Yelena, isn't it?"

   "Very perceptive, grasshopper" Beast quips "Is Clint still there?"

   "He's downstairs helping the police. Can Steve hear me?"

   "Right here, Doll!" Steve grips the edge of his shield and leans forward.

   "How soon can you get here?"

   "We're about thirty minutes away" Tony checks his gauges "Do you know what's going on?"

   "A white semi pulled up about two minutes ago and forced their way into the emergency room. There was an attack on a school half an hour ago and most of the police in the city responded to that first. The ones here are military reserves and off duty."

   "How fast can we get there?" Steve turns to Tony.

   "Ten minutes at the very least" Tony makes a face "But that means we have to walk home. Going that much faster will deplete our fuel supply."

   "Don't care" Steve makes the final call "Get us there!"

   "Everyone buckle in" Tony takes hold of the controls and cackles gleefully.

   Sam groans loudly "What did you just do to us, Steve?"

   Bucky jabs him in the ribs "Shut up, Bird boy. You get used to it."

    "Hang on, Y/N!" Steve says.
