Ethan
As I drove her home I couldn't help but glance at her every now and then. She had a smile on her face the entire day because of the gift I gave her. Looking at her smile was one thing but me being the reason she is smiling. I couldn't help but feel a warm sensation in my heart. I loved her smile.

When we got to her place her mom offered dinner so I gladly accepted. Everytime we chewed on her good I could see her glance down at her necklace and smile. God she's killing me. Yes I admit it I like her.....more than friends. Since we met. But, I don't know something in my mind refuses to change or current friendship.

When we finished eating she dragged me up to her room. She pulled out this scrapbook filled with our pictures. I couldn't help but smile at the fact that she took the time your of her day to make it. As we flipped through each picture we laughed remembering that day.

Looking over once in a while I could catch a glimpse of her smile. Everytime she adjusted her glasses I smiled I found it the most adorable thing. But I loved her eyes even more, without her glasses they shined. She had the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen, then she had an hourglass of a body. But I tried not to look, it would be weird.

After we looked at them we began to head out of the room. Her hips swayed to the door as she took a hold of the knob, I stared. When I looked up my mind was frozen but my actions weren't, "Sunshine," I said. She turned smiling obviously still remembering a picture. "Yeah?" That fid it my hind forced my legs to scoot closer to her. Our chest touched as I pressed my forehead her hers, "Thanks for being my bestfriend." My head bowed lower until our lips were inches apart.

She was about to begin to speak but I cut her off by, placing my fingers slightly under her chin lifting it up and connecting our lips. Placing my other hand slightly on her hip I savored it, I was kissing my crush, love, my world.

But as my mind finally took a hold of the situation my stomach churned your her best friend! That was just her first kiss!!! I pulled away pursing my lips trying to hold in the smile. My stomach dropped as her eyes were slightly widened and she was motionless, did she hate it? Does she hate me?

I opened my mouth to say something when a knock grew on her door. She turned her heard to the side to look at the door. She opened her mouth and cleared her throat, "Yeah?" Finally a voice replied, "Honey, get downstairs we need to talk." I let out a sigh as her mom walked away downstairs. She turned back to me and bit her bottom lip nervously. I slapped my forehead covered my eyes as soon as I felt my cheeks burn, "Sunshine im sorry." I said from behind my hands.

Her hands grip my wrist and pull my hands away from my face, "Ethan. Why did you do that?" Her tone didn't ask that in an angry way but concerned. I lowered my head and rubbed the back of my neck."I-I don't know what came over me." She started into my eyes. "E it's ok just forget it let's go see what my mom wants." What!? She can forget what just happened so easily? I felt my stomach drop as those words left her mouth. Sighing I followed behind her and out the door.

As we walked downstairs I saw her mom sitting on the couch, talking to someone. She looked up at us, "Lucy, come here and thank Jake." So it was Jake.

Lucy looked back at me and then went toward her mom and softly spoke, "Why?" "Jake nearly got hurt in a fight he told me about. Defending you." She turned from her mom to Jake who was sitting on the other couch. She played with her fingers, "Um thank you for defending me." Her blush grew as she adjusted her glasses.

"Your welcome. But honestly Ms.Grey the last thing I wanted to do was come over and make Lucy do this." "Yes Jake, I know you are here to hang out with Austin. But as soon as you told me I needed to know Lucy thank you." He and Ms.Grey stood up. "Ok fine sorry kids your done with me I'm off to shower."
