Having grown up in a B&B, I can tell you now that there are three types of guest:
The Good, The Bad, & The Forgettable
My mum first opened her doors to students in the early 90s, as a way of having an income and being able to raise my brother and I. I always remember her having a great collection of stories about past guests.
My brother and I were too young to remember all the guests that we had come to stay. So after many long chats, I managed to jot down the majority of her stories.
Here are a few of the most memorable ones.
This is an ongoing series, all the stories are written from my mother's perspective so the narrative voice is female, except for one story - which is from my viewpoint.
