For the record,  I will be starting some Gravity Falls one shots,  if you are interested.

Bill seems off. He never seems off.

He takes my hand and we walk into the woods,  like we've done a thousand times. He smiles,  but I can see that it's fake. He doesn't hide it very well.

We reach a clearing,  where the canopy seems miles and miles above us,  and all the scents seem heightened. The air is crisper and the sun filters in through the trees.

He twirls me away from him and then back into his arms. I smile,  looking up at him.

"Bill, what's wrong?"

"Nothing at all."

"Stop lying. I know you better than any one. Tell me. "

"Don't you worry your pretty little head about it,  Princess. I've got everything under control. "

"You better." I grumble. He holds me tighter.

"I've got it."

Something tells me he doesn't. Something also tells me it's no good.

"Are we ever going to tell the Pines?"

"Why does that matter to you so much?"

"Because, you're my girlfriend and I don't like hiding that fact."

"They're the only family I have, Bill. My parents didn't even care enough to come with me. I don't want to loose them. "

"If they love you, then 'us' won't change anything."

"Okay. You're right. I still don't know why you're so adamant about this..."

"It's just something I need to happen."
------
"I didn't mean now!" I grumble.

"Do it for me."

"Whatever." I kick him in the foot, and he smiles, pulling me into a side hug and kissing my forehead.

I open the door to the shop and am greeted by Wendy and the twins.

"Hey, (Y/n)." She says, her eyes drawn to Bill's arm around my waist. The two technically teens stare up at us from their seated postion on the floor.

Mabel sets down her cards and Dipper follows suit. "Is there something you want to tell us, (Y/n)?" She gives her signature grin.

"Yes, well, I suppose so..."

They look at me expectantly.

"Well, you see, the thing is, well, Bill and uh, I, well, you see, the-"

"WE'RE DATING!" Bill screams.

"What..?" Dipper says quietly.

"(Y/n), is he telling the truth?" Mabel asks.

I nod my head.

Dipper quitely leaves the room, and Wendy goes after him.

Mabel just looks at me.

Bill pulls me in front of him, holding me tightly around the waist. "I love her."

"Bill, are you sure you're capable of loving anything?" She too, gets up, going to check up on Dipper.

I look up at him, to see a wide eyed shocked face. She got him. He doesn't know.

He puts his chin on my head.

I pull away from him, holding him by the shoulder. "You do know, don't you?"
