Outcast (Fairy Tail X Reader)

"I said don't make me hurl!" (Y/n) protested as she closed her eyes.

"I'm going as fast as I can." (E/n) said.

"Not helpful." (Y/n) muttered.

~~~Reader's POV

"You should get some rest." (E/n) said after a couple of hour's work.

I nodded and smiled slightly. "Okay."

"I'll carry you back to the beach." (E/n) said.

"No! I'm walking." I said. "I can handle a little stroll."

"There you are!" Erza's voice came from behind me.

"Hi. Where you looking for me or something?" I asked as I turned to face the approaching group, hoping the didn't see the many dead spots throughout the greens.

Happy nodded. "We got a note saying we should head to the broken bridge."

"And you went without me?" I said, hoping they didn't.

"No. We came to get you so we could go together." Wendy said.

I smiled slightly and nodded. "Thanks."

"You're going to the old broken bridge?" (E/n) asked. "I know where it is."

"Can you show us?" Natsu asked.

(E/n) nodded. "Sure. Follow me." She took off into the sky and looked around before flying, west, I think.

"Is he volunteering?" Gray and Lucy said. "He is." I said and laughed as Natsu was pushed onto the bridge.

"What!? Hey! No fair!" Natsu yelled as he wobbled on the bridge that magically built itself as we walked close.

"Seems safe. But it's most likely a trap." Gray said.

Erza nodded. "It probably is. So we have to ready."

I nodded. "Okay." I moved forward across the bridge when no one made a move to go. Seriously guys. I waited and walked down the path a little ways as everyone went across one by one.

"What's up there?" Natsu said from the bridge just before he continued yelling at Gray.

"Nothing." I said. "Wait." I said and the yelling stopped. "Three cloaked people. At the end of the tunnel."

"What?" Erza said and I heard her armor clanking as she jogged up beside me. I pointed to them as they walked down the tunnel.

"I know that smell." Natsu muttered.

"Jellal!" Erza gasped.

What? I turned around as the three took off their hoods. Who were they now?

"Urtear!" Gray said.

"Hello, Gray." The older woman said.

"Meredy. It's so good to see you." Juvia smiled.

The younger woman smiled. "Hello, Juvia."

"I heard your going to participate in the Grand Magic Games this year." The man, obviously Jellal said.

I looked down and pretended not to notice him as everyone discussed how they could help get rid of the dark energy that always came from the games. I looked back up as everyone got quiet. Everyone was gawking at what Urtear was doing. It looked like a lesson of magic. I watched with interest until it was over.

"So, all we need to do is open our Second Origin." Gray said.

Urtear nodded. "Yep. And I know just the spell to help."

~~~~~~Third Person

"And now it's time to announce the wizards who will represent Fairy Tail in the Grand Magic Games." Gramps said as everyone settled down inside the guild hall.

He cleared his throat as he called out three names that were obvious. "Natsu, Gray, and Erza."

"Those three were a given." (E/n) said.

"I know." (Y/n) nodded. She wondered who the other two would be, hoping, knowing she wouldn't be one of them.

"And the other two will be," Gramps began. "Lucy and (Y/n)."

"Whaat!?" Lucy and (Y/n) gasped. "No, please Gramps. I won't be very good." (Y/n) protested.

Gramps shook his head. "You'll be fine." He said.

"But, why me?"

Erza smiled slightly and put a hand on (Y/n)'s shoulder. "We'll be great. There's nothing to worry about."

"Yeah..." Lucy nodded. "We can do this." (Y/n) gave (E/n) a look and she nodded with a small smile. Everyone says she will do fine. So she will do her best.

"Let's go!" Natsu said.

"I still hurt..." (Y/n) complained as she paused in the middle of the street. "Why do I still feel horrible?"

"It must've been the opening of our second origins or something." Lucy said. "My magic feels better. But the rest is somewhere back in Magnolia." (Y/n) nodded in agreement.

"Stop whining." Erza suddenly said.

"Why don't you look like death on a platter?" Lucy asked.

"I'm guessing she's always had her second origin." Gray said.

(Y/n) nodded as she used Natsu to stand back up.

"Why do you have to push a guy down like that?" Natsu said as he worked his way back up.

(Y/n) just shrugged. "Whoops."

"Good to see you kids finally here." Gramps said.

(Y/n) turned around and smiled slightly at him. "Glad you'll all be here for us." She replied.

"Is that Fairy Tail?" someone whispered
"They actually showed up this year." Someone else said.
"Well, someone's gotta come in last place."

"Ouch. Burn." (E/n) said under her breath.

"Hey. Those jerks really laughing at us?" Natsu said.

"I'd leave them." (Y/n) said to him and pulled on his vest so he didn't charge at them.

He growled and stayed still, glaring at the people. (Y/n) rolled her eyes and let him go.

"Guys, you might want to hear this." Levi said behind me. "All participants must be in their designated inns by midnight."

"What?" (Y/n) said. "There's a curfew?"

"It appears so. Wonder why." Erza said.

"Well if they didn't, I would've set one." (E/n) said.

"Look at the time." Natsu said. "We have plenty of time to look around."

(Y/n) nodded. "(E/n) and I are gonna go sightseeing." (Y/n) said.

She turned to leave when Erza put a hand on her shoulder. "Wait, do you know where we're staying?"

(Y/n) nodded. "The HoneyBone Inn."

Erza nodded. "Be back before midnight." She said. "That goes for you three as well!" She called to Natsu, Happy, and Lucy.

"Aye sir!" Happy smiled.

"Be careful." Erza said.

(Y/n) nodded with a smile. "Don't worry." She turned and ran in a random direction.

"She sure seems to care about you more." (E/n) commented.

"Have a map?" (Y/n) asked, wanting to avoid that topic for now.

"Yes." (E/n) nodded and threw it down to me. "We should start with the easy landmarks. Like the central markets, and that pond off to the western side." She suggested.

(Y/n) nodded. "I'll consider it."

"We'll need to plan some emergency routs." (E/n) said mildly. "You know. For reasons."

(Y/n) sighed. "Fine. To the western gate it is."
