Xave:
Skylar had passed out from my small little bit of honesty, causing me to worry. I knew it was a very stupid idea to tell her what I gave up for her freedom, but I would do anything to save her, even give up my free will and soul to the Devil himself - bounding myself as his slave for eternity.
I just wish she would think of it as her escape from here, rather than a business deal. I would not let her be down here any longer.
I gently and easily carried Skylar's petite body out of the room, to where everyone else was sitting outside in the hallway.
The first person I saw was Flow, she had some cuts here and there, but it wasn't anything she couldn't heal herself from. The same goes for the other deities. Lulu had some minor bleeding, Blaze was covered in some battle wounds, while Ciel was merely dusting himself off. Sonny was the real problem though. Andrew stood hovering over him, keeping pressure on what seemed to be a bloody wound on his shoulder. I called Ciel over to me and placed Skylar in his arms, then rushed over to where Sonny lay.
"What happened?" I asked Andrew.
"He was trying to save Lulu from an attack. Did I not tell you it could get you killed?" Andrew shouted at Sonny, who slightly winced from his harsh tone.
"Andrew, I do not think yelling at him will make it any better." I put my hand on his shoulder as a gesture for him to relax. Andrew sighed and nodded.
Flow was in the midst of healing Blaze, when Skylar started to stir in Ciel's arms. Ciel looked a little uneasy, like he wasn't sure what to do about this fidgeting girl in his hold. I got up from my kneeling position, and ran to Ciel's side holding out my arms for him to place Skylar in. He gladly gave her up and I held her against my chest. Her eyes slowly opened, revealing their beautiful blue color. I smiled at her.
"Xave?" She squinted.
"Yes, I am right here, Skylar." I told her. She gently slid her hand up to the back of my neck and gripped it. I wasn't exactly sure what she was doing, but I figured she was holding herself up somehow. I was mistaken.
Skylar passionately placed her lips on mine, and when I wasn't responding the way she liked, she forcibly moved my lips in sync with hers.
I held Skylar tighter to me, while she still lay in my arms. I finally pulled away from her mouth and asked her, "What was that for?" She looked so fragile and innocent, I almost wanted to take back what I said.
"Put me down, please." I followed what she said, and gracefully let her go.
She straightened her clothes and answered with, "Don't leave me."
"What?"
"I said, don't leave me, Xave." She hugged my torso, and sobbed into my shirt.
Did she mean don't leave her as in me staying down here? But I'll have to leave her. Lucifer is in possession of my soul, it is part of the bargain that I stay down here in the Underworld. Yet, I didn't want to hurt her any further, so I smoothed down her hair and placed my chin on her head. "I promise that I'll never leave you." Her sobbing turned to whimpers, indicating that she believed me."But, I have to stay down here. It does not mean I won't leave you though. Cause I'll always be thinking of you. Therefore I am not leaving you."
