Chapter Thirty Four - A Mother's Love

~Flashback ~

"How is he?" I crawled up on the bed after returning from the bathroom.

"He's fine baby. Just missed his daddy. Wow I can't believe I'm a daddy." he smiled down at me and it brings me so much comfort. I'm so glad that I have him to help with all this and that I could have given him this gift. I just....wish it would have happened later. It would have spared me from everything going on right now.

"I don't know what I'd do without you..." a tear escapes my eye. I've been crying a lot lately. Justin says its just the hormones. I mean, I did just have a baby so that should be normal right?

He takes my face in his and wipes away my tears while placing little kisses in the places they once were "And you'll never have to find out."

"I-I just wish it wasn't just us against the world."

"I know, and I'm sorry. Wish there was something that I could do."

I sigh and get myself comfy under the duvet and place my head on his chest.

Justin places a light kiss on my hair and with that we both went back to bed.

When suddenly in the middle of what seemed like the early morning we're once again awaken by Jake's cry. However this time it was different. I don't even think this was a cry, it sounded more like a scream.

Oh Noo...

I somehow just have a bad feeling about this.

Justin was already up and in complete father mode as he rushed to put on his shirt before running out the room with me following closely behind.

By the time that we reached downstairs Jake's cries were no longer coming from inside the house but rather outside near the entrance and Justin and I were met with stern looking eyes that resemble mine coming from none other than my mother.

"What the fuck is going on? Where the hell do you think you're taking our son?" Justin already beyond pissed off tried to bypass his way around my mother but my father came and stood up right in front of him.

"The child is coming with us."

"Noooo dad pleaseeee." I cried and rushed up to him pleadingly. I had a better chance of getting through to him than my mom. "You can't do this."

"Selena you're 16 years old living with a guy a Dr. non the less who should no fucking better might I add!-" he growled in Justin's direction

"Only cause you kicked your own child out when she told you she was pregnant!"

"Of Course we did! Do you know how much of a disgrace that would have been if our associates knew about this. You're lucky we are not putting you in jail Bieber. But I swear to God, if you follow us tonight or try to stop us, you will be seating in a jail cell by the end of the day." my mother finally opened her mouth. Although she hasn't even bother to look in my direction. I guess I was such a disgrace that she couldn't even bother to give her own flesh and blood a glance in my direction.

"Fuck this. I'm calling my lawyers." Justin blew them off and walked into the other room while making the call. There really is nothing he could do either. My parents are one of the best Lawyers in our town and if he did try anything tonight, I have no doubt that they will put him in jail. Hence both our hands we tied.

"Dad please don't do this. What are you going to do with a new born?"

"We'll raise him as our own of course. Do you think on God's green earth that we will let our own grandson be involved in this messy life. A pedophile as a father and an inexperience little slut as a mother? What kind of life could you two possible offer him? He'll be much better off with us."

At this point after hearing my mother's words, her stare burning into me as she said what she just did, there was nothing else that I could utter. I fell to the ground in complete misery, my tears surrounding me in pools around me as I watch them drive away with a crying Jake in the backseat. Justin was soon behind me and tried to comfort me but it was no use. I was unconsolable.

"I promise you Sel. We'll get him back and once we do, your parents will never be trouble for us again...ever!"

Third Person P.O.V.

Selena jumped up from her laying position on the sofa tears running from her eyes and her body shaking uncontrollably "Justin! Justin! You can't let them take our baby." she shouted unconsciously and Justin who was just on his way up the stairs rushes to her side when he noticed her state after hearing her shout for him.

Her eyes were still shut tight as she was afraid that if she did open them, her mother and father's face would mysteriously reappear in front of her.

"Sel! Sel! Wake up, its just a dream." Justin sat on the sofa and pulled her into his arms.

"Its not a dream Justin. My parents are coming here. Shit, I have to go up against them in court Justin! What if they try to take the kids again like how they did with Jake?"

Justin sighs knowing that her Parents were never an easy topic for her. They bring her to a place so deep that it takes everything in him to bring her out from.

"Your parents will never be trouble for us anymore...ever! I promised you back then, and I'm holding on to that for as long as I live." he looked down straight into her eyes as she looked back up weakly at him. He leans in to wipe her tears and she absentmindedly leans into him as well.

Without thought, she brought her lips to meet his. Justin closed his eyes and with everything in him, fought the urge to kiss back and instead pulled his lips away.
