Selena's P.O.V.

From the thirteen years that I've been a mother, I have never witness such disdain in my first born's eyes. He can't even look me in the eyes. I'm completely disgusted with myself right now. This conversation was not something that I wanted my kids to overhear. The situation that I got myself into is one of the main reasons why.

"Jake, you know that's not what I meant I-"

"THEN WHAT DID YOU MEAN MOM? BECAUSE AS FAR AS I'VE LEARNT ME, MAX AND ELLE ARE ALSO A PRODUCT OF WHAT YOU DID WITH DAD WHICH MEANS YOU REGRET HAVING US TOO!!" He shouted. Bitter words straying from his mouth, and I can't help but cry more at his words.

"Jake that was no way to talk to your mother. You apologize this instant."

"Wow dad, you're actually covering for her?! I can't believe this. You two make me sick ." In a split second he ran out the door and onto the road.

"I'll follow him." Justin mumbled and began to walk towards the front door.

"Wait, I'll come with you."

"What about Elle and Max?"

"I'll text Ash and Nessa to come over. Security will keep an eye out for them in the meantime." I explained as I put on my overcoat over my blue torn jeans and light blue fur crop top.

We both enter his car, me in the passenger and Justin taking the wheel. We drove down the road in awkward silence as we both search the side walks and street corners for our little boy.

"I truly am sorry Selena. For everything. I know I've said this a million times before but this time-"

"This time I'm not interested anymore Justin. Now can we just try to find Jake before it gets any later?"

He nods and starts to speed up.

It been two hours since we've been searching up and down our road and around the town but it was still no use. We couldn't find him. Justin suggested that we call some of his friends but neither of them has heard or seen him since school. We even tried calling the police but apparently they can't do anything because Jake isn't considered a missing person unless he's been missing for twenty four hours. I about almost cuss their heads off but Justin grabbed my phone from me and now has it in his possession.

It was at that point I really started to sob. My poor baby is probably out there all alone freezing thinking that I regret having him, when in fact he is one of the best things to ever happen to me! Yes at first when I found out I was pregnant with him, I admit I was frightened and I honestly did not know what to do at the time. But could you blame me? I was barely sixteen years old pregnant by a doctor out of all people who at the time was no way interested in starting a family.

But on that freezing night that he was born, quite like this actually, he changed everything in our lives. I remember thinking that he had magic, the way he would glow when he smile and his eyes would have that twinkle in them that could make anyone fall in love with his adorableness by just a blink. What can I say? I was young. Now I'll do just about anything to have him back in my arms.

"We'll find him."

I nod absentmindedly as I started to wipe some more tears across my face.

"What I said before, about regrets...I'm sorry. No matter how much I hate you for all what you did to me when we were married, you gave me three amazing kids and that is something I can never regret." I spoke up bravely as I turned to look him in the eyes.

He shares a sad smile before nodding in agreement and continuing our drive to search for our son.

Unexpectedly my phone rings from Justin's crouch which was where he placed it after my heated conversation with the police. He looks at me obviously asking if I'm going to get it or not.
