It was nearly intermission when Karai left so I had to take the back route under the seating area as not to be seen and bombarded for autographs by the many patrons getting snacks and using the bathroom.

It was dark as I walked through the small hallway.

But luckily spending the last few days in the NYC sewer system has taught me a thing or two about darkness.

The sounds of the Halftime music filled the air in the background.

"There you are Roxy."

A deep Brooklyn voice echoed out from the darkness in front of me.

Only 2 people call me Roxy, and only 1 has that rough accent.

I squinted my eyes to see better in the dark and A well built figure emerged in front of me.

"Hey Raph, what are you doing down here?"

I puzzled.

"Uh, looking for you I got worried after you left, you just disappeared."

He replied.

He worried about me?

"How did you find me, this place is huge?"

Seriously, there is no way he could have known about these little short cuts.

Only someone who spends a lot of time in a stadium would know.

Which obviously I do.

He held up his Turtle Com which apparently he had in his hand.

"GPS on your T-Phone, accurate to about 3 inches."

He stated as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

T-phone, It's called a T-Phone here, I keep forgetting.

I cocked a grin.

"You were worried about me?"

"Yes!"

His voice became very protective.

"After what happened at the warehouse, I'm not taking any chances."

He stuffed his hands into the deep pockets of his jacket.

"I don't remember much of the warehouse, but I know what happened to me wasn't your fault."

I reassured him, folding my hands together.

"And hey, look at the bright side, it led to you being temporarily human and having a human experience."

He leaned against the wall facing me.

"And that led to me being able to bring you here, and meeting my brother, it's like destiny."

"Still, you could have died, I had to watch you writhe in pain, and I swear one time you cried out for me to help you."

He shook his head.

My heart warned at his protectiveness of me, as I took another step closer.

I inhaled The faint smell of the leather from his jacket.

My heart began to pound, as I traced the thick leather of his collar with my thumb.

I felt him intake a sharp breath.

"Do you tease every guy like this?"

His beautiful green eyes sarcastically scorned at me.

I immediately pulled my hand away , and stepped back slightly.

Slightly hurt.

Karais words running through my mind.

("The one clad in red cares for you.")

Did he think I was just leading him on?

Toying with him?

"I don't mind."

He chuckled.

I rolled my eyes.

"I most certainly am not a tease, why would you think that?!"

He looked confused.

"You know exactly what I mean Roxanne."

I shook my head.

"Actually I don't, so why don't you explain it to me?"

I knew exactly what he was talking about but I needed him to say it.

To hear exactly what he was thinking.

"Like yesterday you kissed me on the trapeze, the way you let me hold you while we danced, that look you gave me when you were putting that crap in my hair, Pretty much ALL the looks you give me, do you even realize what they do to me?

And then back at the warehouse...

But you wouldn't remember that, as you were probably higher then a frikken airplane...

He trailed off, staring intently at the floor.

I propped my back up against the wall and studied my shoes, gathering my courage.

"There is one thing That i really liked that i can remember from that warehouse though..."

I think he was blushing, but it was hard to tell in the darkness.

"What?"

His tone was a forced calm.

I took a rapid breath and grabbed his shoulders, pushed him against the wall completely and crushed my mouth against his.
