Chapter 14: His Child

It was unusual for Aphmau to be up in the wee hours of the morning. It was unusual for her to be crying in a corner.

But it was also unusual that Aaron, was watching, and not doing anything.

"You understand yet?" He asked, his voice much deeper, his eyes were crazed and wild.

"A-Aaron, p-please... don't do this..." she croaked, huddling up closer to the corner.

"Why? You're useless to me, the only reason I let you stay is because I want you...to myself." He lowered his voice on the last note. Giving her a look that Ivan would be proud of.

He grabbed the scruff of her neck and pulled her down, so that he was on top of her.

"I gave you plenty of time to leave. Now, if you don't fight me , we'll both have a good time...

She woke with a start, tears streaming down her face. And as she looked over she saw Aaron sleeping, his arms loosely around her waist.

Her first instinct was to snuggle up to him, but her dream made her stop.

What if, he just wants me like Ivan did.

It was a dream, she wouldn't be worried, he wouldn't do that. He said that he loved her.

You said it first.

That shouldn't matter.

But what if...

He lied.

She shook the thoughts out of her head, he had promised that he would never hurt her. She had to trust that.

She snuggled, very carefully into his chest. And he hugged her in his sleep. This made her feel a little better. And she snuggled into the crook of his neck.

Very suddenly, a sharp indescribable pain shoot through her stomach, like someone had just stabbed her.

"Ah!" She squirmed and fell of the bed, waking Aaron, and the rest of the house up.

Fresh tears ran down her face, but this time out of pain. She groaned, she had never felt this bad in her life.

Then she remembered that her week of the month hadn't come.

She remembered what Ivan had done to her, if he... she might be... with his....

"Aph? Are you okay?" Aaron jumped off the bed and bent down to her, not noticing her hand on her stomach.

"I'm... not sure...Aaron." She started, her stomach still lightly throbbing.

"Come on, get back into bed." He smiled at her, and helped her up, but she almost pushed him down, because another sharp pain was going through her body.

"Woah, Aphmau, what's wrong?!" He was starting to get really nervous. He had never seen her in that much pain.(and he had lived with her for a month and a half)

"A-Aaron!, d-do you remember what Ivan did to me...? She asked, he placed her on the bed and sat down next to her. His mind already starting to work.
