Sighing, she sunk back onto her heels, gaze turning downward as she reached for her bag, slinging the strap over her shoulder, exiting the bathroom.
She walked into class, sitting down at her desk, glancing up and over at the boy she used to sit next to.

Her stomach twisted as she watched him smile at her, mind echoing with the things she had said in his absence.
Rosie watched them together, and bit her bottom lip, chewing on it gently, as she had grown accustomed to doing.
She made him happy, and regardless, it was none of Rosie's business, no matter how much it hurt her.
He deserved so much more, and what was even harder to admit was that Rosie couldn't be what Josh deserved, either.
