CHAPTER 17

Today was the Slytherin and Ravenclaw Quidditch match and the Slytherins weren't the only ones who were cheering for their house to win the match.

"I see you two aren't eating." Jaime said to Draco and Theodore. Jaime sat across from Draco and Theodore, receiving glares from the other Slytherins.

"Not hungry." Theodore said, pushing his plate away from him. "Well you have to eat." Jaime said and pushed the plate back. "If you think we're worried, Jaime, we aren't. We've been playing Quidditch since second year." Theodore said.

"You just started this year, Theodore." Draco said and took a bite from his toast.

"Like you're any better?" Theodore said, "You're no like I am – for the past years of being a Seeker and not once have you beaten Potter on getting the Snitch."

Draco glared at Theodore, things may have been fine now, but Draco's image of Harry being his rival was still there, Harry will always be the obstacle Draco wants to get over – to be as important as Harry Potter.

"I'm sure Draco has a plan now... I mean – he will get the Snitch before Oliver Travers, right, Draco?" Jaime asked while unconsciously drinking from the goblet of pumpkin juice. Draco's goblet of pumpkin juice.

"By the way, what's with Travers that" Theodore nodded at Hermoine's direction, who's at the Gryffindore table, "That Granger makes a big deal about anyway?"

Jaime sighed, "Don't tell anyone, but Hermoine's actually voting for you to win."

"What?" Draco and Theodore asked.

"Hermoine really hates Oliver Travers to the core."

"But their Head Boy and Girl – they live together in the Head's dormitory. How does Granger even survive the day?" Draco asked, he wasn't able to contain his amusement and laughed.

"She mentioned about using the Silencing Spell, but was forced to lift it – so it now involves an embarrassing photo of Travers during his second year in Herbology." Jaime said.

"Herbology?" Draco asked, "Is it like Longbottom? He fainted?"

Jaime can't help but laugh with Draco and Theodore. "Who took the photo?" Theodore asked.

"Dean – he borrowed Collin's camera..." Jaime said but suddenly went silent. The thought of Collin, her fellow Gryffindor and supposed to be classmate now, made her uneasy – it wasn't just the memory of Collin, but also the others who died during the battle, especially Fred Weasely's. Draco saw Jaime's sudden change of mood – her smile, one of Draco's favorite things about Jaime, just disappeared. Draco sensed the heavy air around them and changed the topic, "By the way, why don't you play Quidditch?"

Jaime smiled a sad smile, "Got hit y a Bludger during fifth year Quidditch tryouts – Harry said I was knocked out for two days, didn't remember what happened after I fell off my broom."

"MALFOY! NOTT!" Blaise called, "Come on, we need to get ready."

"He's not even the bloody Captain yet he acts like one... why don't you give him the title Draco, besides almost everyone hates us now." Theodore said and went to the Slytherin team, "See ya later Jaime."

"See you, Theodore, good luck!"

Theodore continued to walk away but waved at Jaime. Draco got up with a sigh, but before he left he gave Jaime a smile and said, "See you later, Jaime."

"See you later, Draco," Jaime chuckled, "Good luck... and take care."

Draco chuckled and gave Jaime a nod and left with Jaime's smile as his little good luck charm for the game.
