CHAPTER 34

All of the students in Hogwarts were curious why Harry Potter was still in Hogwarts when Ron Weasley had already left and went back to Auror training. It's been two weeks now and Harry's been serving detention with Professor McGonagall every evening after supper along with Draco, and for the past two weeks, Harry's been sleeping in the Gryffindor Common room – the Gyrffindors just gave him a pillow and a blanket to be comfortable.

"How many days left before you're free to go?" Jaime asked while furiously doing her Herbology homework.

"A week left, then I'm off." Harry said while glaring at the Slytherin table, Jaime noticed Harry's glare – she didn't like it. Jaime turned to the Slytherin table and saw Draco returning the same glare to Harry, she groaned as her brother and the boy she recently found she fancies were glaring at each other and would want to hex each other right now. Jaime remembered when she finally realized that she fancied Draco Malfoy, it was right after Draco's detention a few nights before, she and Draco would still meet at the Room of Requirement every after curfew, it was a bit hard to slip in and out of the Gryffindor common room with Harry sleeping at the common room, but thankfully, Harry would just have his Invisibility Cloak lying just beside him and Jaime would 'steel' it and go to the Room of Requirement. It only took a small accident to make Jaime realize that she fancied Draco Malfoy, and it was when Draco and her were practicing his dueling – just to get his mind off of the Patronus and NEWTs – when Draco accidentally used the Rictusempra Spell.

"Rictusempra!"

Jaime got blasted by Draco's spell and was sent flying to the wall, Jaime gasped for air and tried getting up. Draco panicked and ran to Jaime's side.

"I'm sorry! I-It was – I didn't mean to!" Draco knelt down to Jaime's side and helped her sit up and lean on the wall. Jaime breathed deep, trying to get air back inside her. Jaime felt a stinging pain just on her temple, she reached up to touch, but retracted when a bolt of pain went to her.

"You're bleeding." Draco muttered, he got out his handkerchief and tend to her wound, Jaime just watched as Draco cleaned her wound. Draco then pointed his want over her wound and muttered the spell, "Epiksey."

Jaime felt her would close and a cooling feeling at the area. After a while of just talking, Jaime wanted to go to bed. Draco and Jaime both hid under Harry's Invisibility Cloak, Draco even walked Jaime back to the Gryffindor common room.
Jaime took off the cloak off of them, they both were laughing quietly at their escape from Mr. Filch.

"That was a close one." Jaime laughed.

"It was." Draco laughed.

"Would you two hurry up! It's after curfew and I still want some sleep!" the Fat Lady groaned. Draco and Jaime laughed at the Fat Lady's impatient attitude, but didn't mind her. Draco then stopped laughing and just stared at Jaime, "Goodnight, Jaime." Draco said.

"Goodnight, Draco." Jaime sighed, she didn't want their time together to end. Just before Jaime said the password of the Gryffindor common room, Draco did something unexpected, Draco kissed Jaime on the cheek and after the kiss Draco stared in to Jaime's eyes, he gave her a smile, "Goodnight." Then he left.

"Would you stop glaring at him?" Jaime snapped at Harry. Harry turned to Jaime with a confused look, "I'm not glaring at him." Harry stated.
Jaime frowned, "Oh really? What were you doing then? Muttering curses that can embarrass him?"

"Am not!"

"What's going on?" Hermoine and Ginny came, just before the two siblings started hexing each other, Ginny sat beside Harry, while Hermoine sat beside Jaime.
