He looked so peaceful when he slept

I kissed his nose gently
He sleepily woke up

When the nurse left I looked at Chris

Uk ur moma came to see u in the hospital right I met her she cool I can tell she don't play no games about her baby  I laughed as he mocked my momma

How come you don't talk about ur mom and brothers that much especially Rage
I immediately felt his mood change as I mentioned Rage
Hey I said as I grabbed his chin and turned his face so that we met eye to eye

I know there was something deeper goin on with him something so big that maybe even I couldn't handle

I turned up the music and we rode in silence the rest of the way
When we pulled up to my house
He got out the car and opened my door like a true gentleman

Yea I hugged him and always as promised the sense of safety took over me the feeling that kept me coming back would this feeling end in disappointment and disaster or peace love and hope

Alll of my family and friends we're here I was so happy I jumped and hugged Chris
