Stella,

You still aren't answering me in any form and it's okay. I understand. I really do.

I hope Caleb is okay and you're okay and everything is okay.

Perry and I did it. We signed with this small label.

We played this show that was so much bigger than anything else we've ever done and this man in a suit came up to us. He shook our hands and said, "you guys are unique enough that I like it but similar enough that everyone else will like it."

It was the worst and best compliment we've ever received.

We're really excited, Stel. We can actually do this, you know? Make a life for ourselves out of that town that holds nothing bad memories . You need to get out of there too.

I'm so excited about this. Everything that's happened has been like I'm living a fucking dream. I wish you were here. So bad, Stel.

When I thought about my life finally falling into place I always pictured you by my side and without you I know that it won't ever be perfect.

We have some more business to take care of here and then we'll be back. We'll figure everything out. We'll talk everything out.
