Katherine stirred at the sound of metal on metal. She frowned and yawned as she opened her eyes as Susan shook her shoulder,
"Katherine!"

Her instincts kicked in as she noticed everyone grabbing their supplies, and Peter and Lucy were no where to be seen. Susan and Edmund looked at each other tensely, not sure if they should wait for their friend or not. Katherine sensed this and she shouted,
"Go! I'll be right behind you!"

Edmund nodded before grabbing Susan's arm and pulling her towards the commotion, Trumpkin not far behind. Katherine swore as she rose to her feet. The clashing had stopped as she made sure they had grabbed everything. She turned on her heel and raced towards the hill that the three had just ran up. She prayed that nothing bad had happened to Peter or Lucy. Her boots dug into the dirt as she unsheathed her sword. She made out Peter speaking from the distance,
"Good, because we're going to need every sword we can get."

Her face scrunched up in confusion, who could he be talking to?

"Well then, you'll probably wanting yours back."

Her heart nearly burst at the familiar voice and the sight she saw as she reached the three Pevensies. Everyone's eyes landed on her as she paled and her sword slipped from her hand.

"Katherine?" Caspian asked hoarsely as she nodded and smiled.

She let out a choked laugh as she ran towards her brother and he wrapped her in a tight hug. She smiled into his shoulder as a few tears slipped down her cheeks. The Pevensies' watched in utter confusion, how did she know Caspian?

Caspian let her step away from him as he breathlessly said,
"I thought our uncle had killed you."

She wiped the tears from her eyes and sighed,
"He ordered my execution."

Caspians jaw clenched as he pulled for another tight hug,
"I'll kill the bastard."

Katherine laughed as she pulled away from him,
"But he failed, I'm still here. Besides my friends saved my life, Peter pulled me from the water. I would have died without their help."

Caspian released her as she turned and smiled warmly at her friends. Peters jaw was clenched as he watched her interact with the man. He had no reason to feel jealous but he couldn't help how he was already beginning to feel about her.

Caspian placed his hand protectively on his younger sister back as soon as he noticed the look that the high king was giving his baby sister.

"Friends, I would like to introduce you all to my older brother Caspian. Caspian these are the Kings and Queens of Old, oh and that's my friend Trumpkin." Katherine said with a bright smile as she looked at her friends.
