Chapter Five

The next morning I wake up in a strange room, I don't recognize anything. A blue room with a bunch of hats hanging on the wall and a desk that was neatly organized and guys clothing all in a pile next to a dresser. Before I sit up I feel a warm bare arm around my waist. I poke it and the person groaned and said with a groggy voice "it's to early stop". "Oh it's you," I say rubbing my face "Mira wake up who's room are we in?" "Ughh!" She playfully moans as she shoots up from her starfish position. ",were in Johns room. You fell asleep over at that guy Connors house, who's totally hot by the way, and he brought you over here earlier this morning." She says quietly rubbing her face. I've been to Johns so many times, pretty much at least once a week, for however long I've known him,I can't believe I just now realized I've never actually been in his room. We were either always in the kitchen, living room,game room, or out back.
"Brought me over here?" I ask sitting up to join her "yeah it was so cute, he carried you over here, he said something about wanting to go for a run then he's uncle wanted to take him some where when he got back, but anyways he carried you over here so you wouldn't be freaked out you were in his house alone and John told him to put you up here with me and take his spot and he'll sleep in the living room ." She says  removing the same red shirt John was wearing the night before to find her crop top she was wearing. "Oh okay, that's cool I guess." I say looking around the room. Standing up Mira reveals that she wasn't wearing any pants, so my mind started to wonder. "So tell me everything JJ did you sleep with him? Was he good? How did you met him? When did you leave the party anyway? Details woman!" She says putting on her shorts from the night before. "Me give you details? you should be giving me details about you and John!" I reply back. She was silent for a minute then she slightly smiled letting out a small giggle. "Pfft Whaat I don't know what you're talking about" she says crossing her arms "you slept with him didn't you!" I scream in excitement "Maybe," she says sitting back on the bed next to me. ",okay yes! It was grate. Way better then I'm used to. And he seemed to have really enjoyed it too!" She says with a bounce in her voice. "Oh my god Mira that's great, finally something you've been wanting since, forever!" I reply. "I know! Now you tell me what happened to you last night!" She says pointing down at my chest " I look down to see that I'm still wearing Connors hoodie. I blush at the thought of him grinding on me, and kissing me with his soft warm lips. "nothing" I respond. "Oh common Jade tell me! I told you what happened to me." She says tugging on my hoodie to try and get me to give in. "Noting. We just talked and," I trailed off thinking of last night. "And what!?" She says snapping me out of my day dream ",we made out okay! Happy now" I finish. "Like in going to believe that's all that happened that look was not just for a kiss" "he just slowly  gridded on top of me for awhile while we were making out, fully clothed, but it was still amazing, that's it honestly" Mira's mouth was wide open gasping "Way to go JJ! he's hot!"  She says grabbing my phone from the side table ", did you get his number?" She asks scrolling through my contacts "No but he had me give him mine" I say looking up at her. Mira has a unusually huge smile planted across her face "what the hell is that smile for?" I ask grabbing my phone from her. It was a text, from a unknown number. I click the message to read it and it was from him, Connor Adams texted me. I smiled and read  "Good morning beautiful, sorry I couldn't stay till you woke up I just didn't want to leave you alone so you could be freaked out. I had a great time last night, we should do that again sometime. Maybe tonight, my uncle found this supposably great restaurant down the road that I was thinking I could possible take out on a date. I would love to see you again. ~Connor"  I smile and look up to see Mira silently freaking out then immediately respond "Good morning Connor, I' had a great night last night too. Yes, I would love to go on a date with you tonight! What restaurant? I'll meet you there." I smile setting the phone down waiting for a response. I look up to see Mira over my shoulder widely grinning. "Jade has a boyfriend!" She yells running out the bedroom down the stairs to the living room. I chase her stumbling in the process. Mira jumps on top of John who is still sleeping and bounces up and down screaming on the top of her lungs "Jade has a boyfriend! Jade has a bo-" but is cut off by John giggling as he hits her face with his pillow. "I heard you the first time!" He says hitting her once more. "Calmness is key," he says trying not to laugh at the fake frown planted on Mira's face. Then drops the  pillow and looks at me yelling the  words "Jade you have a boyfriend!" I smile and sit on the recliner across from them "Pfft No," I shoot Mira a playful scowl ",Connor isn't my boyfriend we just have a date that's all" I finish. "Wait you're going on a date with him?" John asks with excitement "yeah so?" Mira and John look at each other and yell "finally!" at the same time. "What do you guys mean by finally?" I ask "I mean it's about time you get a guy in your life. He seems pretty cool too." John replies. "Yeah I hope so.." I stay starting to zone out "Don't start that Jade" Mira says with a serious tone "stat what?" I ask honestly unsure of what I was starting  "don't start having doubts. Be positive. This guy wouldn't have asked you out if he wasn't interested, plus last night is kinda a give away the guys into you" she replied wiggling her eyebrow "Yeah, Mira is right have a little faith. Where is he taking you anyway?" John asks changing the topic "I don't know yet he hasn't respo-" I started to say but then my phone buzzed. I opened the message to see it was from Connor "My uncle says the place is called Midnight Lights I just made reservations at seven is that alright?" I reread the message a couple times before looking up at Mira and John with shock. "What?" They both said in sync
"Midnight Lights" I respond. They say nothing but gasp "Midnight Lights? Really!" Mira responds after a few seconds of silents. "Yeah I know. Thats what he said though." I say handing her the phone.
Midnight Lights is a really, really expensive, fancy restraint that only couples ever seem to go to. I've never been there because I've only ever dated two guys and we were in middle school so it wasn't even really considered "dating". I've never been on a date before let alone to Midnight Lights. "Wow you guys must have really hit it off last night" John says with a light giggle "His uncle recommended the place, he must not know how expensive the place is. I'm going to tell him" I say taking my phone back
  "Midnight Lights? Do you know how expensive that place is. You don't have to really we can go somewhere cheaper if you want." I sent then quickly after my phone buzzed
"Don't worry about it. I want to, you deserve it. I already looked up the place before I made reservations. It's to late to back out now Julie you're my prisoner tonight. :)" I giggle as I read the last part the respond "Alright Adams, if you say so. I just wanted to make sure you knew what you were getting yourself into. See you there :)" I look up at Mira and John to see them with wide grins on their faces watching me. " shut up" I say laughing and walking away to the bathroom.
