Despite our wishes, that was one of the slowest weeks of my life. All I did was ride, eat, and sleep. I wanted to go into town to meet up with friends, but my parents didn't put snow tires on my car so I couldn't drive. So I just worked with Moose and Kingston the whole week. I even jumped on Confetti once to fix his headset.

"Just another ten minutes or so," Dad said as we drove through the town that held my school.

"Can we stop at a Dunkin Donuts' real quick?" I asked as I saw one looming in the distance. When we stopped there, I grabbed myself a hot chocolate and a coffee for Noah.

When we finally arrived on campus, I was beyond anxious. Anxious to see Noah, anxious to see my friends, anxious to see Hope. Wearing my new Dublins, I hopped out the car and gave my parents a hug.

"I'll see you guys in a couple of weeks, okay?" I said. After our goodbyes, they drove off, and I held a tray of my drinks in one hand, a bag on my back, and I dragged a suitcase behind me. I struggled to open Acacia dorm, but once I did, I headed upstairs to my room.

"Oh, you got me coffee?" Bridget said as I entered the room.

"Um, not for you," I laughed. "You can have some of my hot chocolate though."

We talked for a while about our past week.

"Hey, so what's going on with you and Noah?" she asked.

"Why, did you see him?" I asked.

"He stopped in a few minutes ago asking about you," she replied.

"I'll be right back," I said, grabbing his coffee. I walked down the hall to his room, and knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" he asked.

"Your girlfriend!" I replied, and the door instantly swung open. "I come bearing gifts!"

I handed him the coffee and he took a sip. "Is it only me," he said, "or was that the longest week?"

"It was boring," I said. "I didn't have nearly as much fun."

"The best part of the week was the plane ride home when my parents asked a bunch of questions about you," he said. "They love you."

"My parents loved having you over," I said. "Kelsey adores you."

"Well, I adore you," Noah said, tilting my chin up to kiss me. We split and I wrapped my arms around him, taking his warmth.

"Okay, I wish I could stay, but I have to unpack," I said, still holding him tight. "I don't want to leave."

"You know..." Noah said mischievously, "my roommates not back for another day."

I caught his drift. "Is that allowed?" I asked. "Am I allowed to be in here?"

"Rules apply when school's in session," he said. "School's not in session for another two weeks."

"Well then," I said. "Guess I'm spending the night here."

-

"Will you now please tell me what's going on between you and Noah?" Bridget asked when I returned. She had drank over half my hot chocolate.

"God, fine," I laughed. "He spent the first few days of holiday with me."

"Woah, what?" Bridget asked. "And you didn't tell me?"

"Didn't seem relevant," I said. "If you're mad at me for not telling you that, you're really not going to like me after this."

"Spill," she sighed.

"We're dating," I said. "One week yesterday."

"Wow," she said. "Not even a text."

"Well you see, I was kinda busy," I said, trailing off when she smirked at me. "Not in that way!"

"I was gonna say!" she exclaimed. "That was quick!"

"No," I groaned, falling into one of my pillows. "Nothing like that happened."

"Mhmm," she said, taking another sip of my hot cocoa. "Well, Ethan and I are going out in like five minutes, so go have fun with your boyfriend."

"I need to unpack," I said.

"But not too much fun," she said as she headed out the door, ignoring me. I unpacked everything and took a quick nap, enjoying the silence

I woke up to the sound of someone knocking on my door. I pulled myself out of bed and opened the door to see Noah standing there.

"Hey," he said. "Did I just wake you up?"

"Yeah, it's not a big deal," I said. "What's up?"

"Um, can I do some homework in here? My neighbor is playing music really loudly and I can't concentrate," he said.

"Sure, use my desk," I said. "Didn't we do all our homework during vacation?"

"Yeah, I just found out I had to do a mini research project for my equine anatomy class," he said.

"Okay," I said as he sat down at my desk. "But I'm going back to sleep."

"Go ahead," he said. I got back into bed and pulled my blankets up around me, falling asleep to the sound of Noah typing away on his laptop.

-

When I woke up, I felt Noah in the bed next to me. I rolled over to I was pressed against him and I took a deep breath. I vaguely remember him getting into the bed with me, but I could care less.

"You guys have been out for hours," I heard Bridget say, scaring me and making me flinch. I groaned as she laughed. "Sorry."

I rolled back over and saw her sitting on her bed talking to Ethan. "You guys are pretty cute, though," she admitted.

"I know," I said, throwing a pillow at her. "Go away and let me sleep."
