Two Paths (Sequel to Why Me)

I'm not crazy anymore! The attack

 "You know as well as I do that nothing will ever be the same." Tadashi said.

"Yeah I know but........I wish they could." I thought.

"You can't live in the past Mariah,"

"Yeah I know I know,"

"You feeling better?" He asked.

"Yeah, my chakra is coming back."

"After dinner we'll resume training."

"Whatever,"

"Not much for conversation?"

"Not at all,"

"Why?"

"Just not in the mood."

"Is it from that memory?"

"Possibly."

"You should let go of the past Mariah. Things will never be the same again and you know it. The Sasuke you once knew is forever gone."

"I wish it wasn't true................maybe I can just......change him back...Maybe just maybe."

"Mariah..............you know........that his mind can't be changed."

"I know............"

"It'll all work out,"

"I hope,"

"Don't worry,"

"Why are you being so............nice?" I asked.

"Because I want to prove to you that I've changed Mariah. I know it's hard to gain but I'm trying."

"You'll have to try harder,"

"I know,"

Then there was silence between us. I stepped out of the house to wonder around the village. As I was walking I noticed the villagers still giving me weird looks. Ignoring the looks I continued on into the little village. I took notice of the pieces of paper that hung towards the boarder of the village. As I got closer to one I saw that they were spells to ward off demons.

"If I have a demon inside me then how can I get in?" I wondered.

(Madara's POV)

It's been weeks now and I have to start the war without Mariah. It will be a set back from the original plan but she'll have to turn up sooner or later. Once Sasuke is healed he'll look for her and then she'll finally be my weapon. He's almost healed. Soon you will be mine Mariah.

(Mariah's POV)

It's been two months since I've been training with Tadashi. Well in my world it's been two months but out in the real world it's only been a few days. I've been in my subconscious for so long that Kurayami has been getting worried about me but I usually just ignore it. With Tadashi's help I've been able to control his chakra and wield it.

I've been practicing with my conscious body for a while now and I've been getting more and more powerful by the day. Even though it took a lot out of me, I practice every day. Kurayami was getting suspicious of me but I never told her the truth about Tadashi.  

My animals would always check in with me informing me what is going on with my................. so called friends and the world. Apparently Madara finally made his move on starting the war. So far Zetsu is transforming into people impersonating fellow ninjas infiltrating enemy base for information along with annihilating enemy forces from the inside.
