Two Paths (Sequel to Why Me)

Hey sorry for the lateness I've been busy and stuffity stuff stuff so here's the next chapter, I hope you like it ^^ ps. its meh kitty's birthday XD she's 12 ^^

"Pft just you wait......he'll join me in order to kill you...He has no heart or compassion for his old village." Madara said.

I smirked at what I was about to say.

"Madara.......you think that you have everything planned out don't you?"

"Yes,"

"Well have you thought about what if Sasuke runs into Itachi on his way over here."

His eyes widened.

"Itachi will talk some sense into Sasuke........I know he will...."

"Damn you Mariah!"

Once everyone was ready we all started to formulate a plan to get rid of the remaining bijuu. I couldn't help but notice that Naruto kept glancing at me occasionally.

"What is it Naruto?" I questioned.

"Uh........nothing..."

"Oookkkk then...Naruto, Kakashi, Shino, and Kiba you will distract the Bijuu while Tadashi, Lee, Gai, Neji, and I try to get the chakra receivers out."

"Got it," They all said.

"Once we defeat them then we'll go after Madara as a group....he's already weakened so it shouldn't be so hard to defeat him."

"What if Sasuke actually comes?" Shikamaru asked.

"Then we fight him...........if worse comes to worse......we kill him...." I said.

Everyone was silent.

"A-are you sure Mariah?" Ino asked.

"Positive........if he chooses to fight alongside Madara then he is a threat to everyone.."

"Mariah-" Naruto started.

"Let's stick to the plan....hurry they're coming."

The Bijuu then started to make those energy balls again from their mouth. Everyone panicked but I stayed perfectly calm. We all huddled together as they were fueling in more chakra into the ball. I was getting prepared for the attack.

"No matter what all of you stay still." I commanded.

"What why?! We'll get killed!" Ino protested.

"No we won't....stay perfectly calm."

The energy balls had now reached their full power and the bijuu aimed towards us. When they shot at us Ino sent out a yelp and I could see that everyone had terror but pride on their faces. I held out my arms making my shield and my shadow protect us from the blast. Everyone flinched at the sound of the blast and cringed waiting for the impacted but it never came. They all opened their eyes seeing that they're actually alive. Observing the shield and shadow surrounding then seeing that I'm the one that's keeping them alive.

"Mariah.." They gasped.

"I'm f-fine; that just took a lot of me..."

"I thought that your shield had a limit." Kakashi pointed out.

"What do you think I've been doing all this time? Curled up in a ball dreaming? I've been training my ass off for this moment."

"I see....well...good work."

"Now...on with the plan. Make sure that they don't use that attack again."

"Got it." They said.
