So finally the stupid Kabuto flashback is over! I was so happy ^^ hopefully this battle will be over soon cus I'm getting sick of the war and i bet you guys are too. It's like dragging even though was all know the harsh truth that after this war Naruto is coming to an end T~T But send in suggestions for things that can happen after the war ^^

Mariah soon was back to her old self once Sasuke broke the kiss. She slowly sank to her knees sobbing looking at her hands.

"Wh-what have I done?" She sobbed.

Sasuke looked down at her then kneeled down in front of her. She didn't look up but kept staring at her hands.

"Did.......I kill him?"

"No, he's alive but barely." Sasuke answered.

Mariah continued to cry as Sasuke and Itachi watched her. Mariah was disgusted of herself for letting everything get out of control like that. She didn't want to kill Kabuto and she let out that wretched monster that has been inside her for so many years. She threatened to kill Sasuke! Who knows what would've happened if Sasuke didn't stop her. Sasuke wrapped his arms around her trying to comfort her but Mariah only cried on his shoulder. While Sasuke was comforting Mariah, Itachi turned back his attention to Kabuto.

"Stop the Edo Tensei," Itachi commanded.

"Hehe.........yeah.....right..." Kabuto replied.

Kabuto would rather die than stop it and Itachi knew that. Kabuto would never stop it no matter what. Itachi knew that it was hopeless and that he had to find out the weakness to the jutsu but it would be hard. He looked over his should to see Sasuke hugging Mariah who was still crying. Sasuke rubbed Mariah's back to let her know that everything was going to be okay.

"Mariah, everything is fine. Kabuto is still alive and you didn't hurt me or Itachi." He said.

"It's not fine........I could care less about Kabuto but.....it's just the fact that....I let my emotions get the better of me....."

"You're going to be okay Mariah,"

"No I'm not.......I didn't want anyone to see me like that. She hurt you....I can still see it in your eyes."

"She?"

"Yeah....That wasn't me at all.......she's a whole different person....I discovered her while I was with the Akatsuki......I tried to keep my emotions in check after I encountered her."

She shivered at the thought of their last encounter. Suddenly she felt light headed and vague. Her vision started to blur and her body was shutting down. Grabbing her head she groaned.

"Mariah, what's wrong?" Sasuke asked concerned.

"I feel.......tired..." She answered weakly.

Soon her eyes were getting heavier and heavier. She tried to fight it and stay awake but it was useless. Mariah fell forwards only to be caught by Sasuke.

"She must've exhausted herself," Sasuke thought.

Gently he laid her down on the ground examining her closely. While he was looking after Mariah, Itachi was watching Kabuto. He saw that something was not right at all. He was laying motionless but was still alive which was peculiar because with his injuries he should be dead. Little did Itachi know, Kabuto had been healing himself even before the fight like he did all those years ago when he fought Naruto. He won't die at all because soon he will be able to molt his skin then be ready to fight the three again. While Itachi was distracted Kabuto's eyes shifted to the unconscious Mariah in Sasuke's arms.
