|Maddie's pov|
I wish my mom could pay more attention to me.
I'm the one who was diagnosed with leukemia.
I was just diagnosed a couple of weeks ago.
When I first heard the news I was speechless.
I broke down a couple minutes later.
I wish my mom could have comforted me, but she was busy with Mackenzie because Mackenzie
needed something to eat.
But she only wanted to eat something because she was bored sitting in the hospital room.
After they came in and told me I thought about what was going to happen and what I was going to go through, for instance, losing my hair. I was scared to death.
But then I thought to myself, if I think positive I will beat cancer.
I'm going to stay strong. Nothing will take me down. I'm just hoping that one day they will find a cure.
