Loud whispering and laughter wake me up, the noise doesn't seem to cease. I bunch up my frail body in a fetal position and cover my ears but it's somehow louder, the laughter more distinctive.

Erics.

I flinch as I hear a movement around my room. I can't tell what it is but it seems to be someone running around. "Eric?" I call out.

No answer.

The movement around the room continues and I'm terrified of leaving the bed. But like a curious white person in a horror movie I get down. Almost immediately, the movements and whispers stop. I stay put for a while with steady breaths before taking a step forward. If it's Eric I wouldn't know what I'd do. Hope elevates me and encourages more steps out of me walking towards the door. The laughter I heard turns into screams and I burst out the door. "Eriiiiic? Are you there?" I think I see him! running down the stairs.

He's right there.

Or am I just hallucinating? I run down trying to catch a glimpse of him again. I hear the front door squeak open and I rush towards it. I hear his muffled cries so clearly as if I was next to him but he isn't even there. I run across the lawn and then to the neighbors but no trace. He's here somewhere, I can hear him. Where is he? My cheeks burn up and my tears blur my vision, I run all over the neighborhood calling his name but I can only hear him cry. My heart races with every step I take running like a headless chicken. I swear I can hear him, "ERIC PLEASE, I NEED YOU, WHERE ARE YOU, PLEASE" as I'm about to give up and crash onto some one's lawn I noticed a kid running across the street with immense speed. I start after him but I can't get close enough to catch him.

I can't lose him again, I won't.

The kid stops at the end of the cliff. Turns to Face me. Eric.

As perfect as he ever was. His chestnut hair he got from mom's side, his puffy cheeks, and olive skin.

I'm in a moment of awe where my mouth can't move, my eyes don't blink. I can't see him gone again.

He's at the edge of the cliff.

He opens his mouth and a set of words leave him as they travel their way towards me. The tune distinct and reassuring.

"It's not your fault"

And with that, he takes a step back and off he goes.

I screech "NOOOOOOO" and run towards the edge but I don't stop there I just keep going and maybe if I fall with him we'll both be safe. As I got closer to the edge I felt a huge force across my stomach thrust me back and onto the floor.

"Are you fucking nuts?" I hear a man shouting. Disoriented by what happened I try to get up, no more than two seconds pass and I'm back on the floor.

He pushed me back.

Eric. I jump up ready to go to the edge again and a pair of hands grab both my arms, Odyn right in front of me with furious eyes. "What is wrong with you?!"

I keep blinking at him, where's Eric? Was I dreaming? I look around and its night time, near the cliff. "I-I Eric he w-was-" My eyes fill with horror the moment I realize that I had been sleepwalking my way to death.

His hands let me go.

I never saw someone other than my mom look at me with so much disdain, it was unbearable. He turns away from me and towards this girl that was standing by a street light, petrifyed by what just happened.
