chapter 2

"COME IN . "

There entered a girl. She looks pale, weak but still she was beautiful. Drake doesn't be distracted, I said to myself.
i dint know what she was doing in my office, she was looking around.

Then I saw Shawn who was also looking at her.

I cleared my throat, then got her attention. She was wearing a white shirt and black pants. She wasn't tall; she was looking nervous and uncomfortable but I was still looking at her. Then I heard someone clearing their throat. Then I composed myself.
I said Shawn " Shawn I have an interview to attend, we will prepare the presentation later,"

After he left, I told her to take a seat. She strolled and sat across me. She handed me her file and I quickly check her C.V.

"Introduce yourself" I told her making her more nervous.
She played with her fingers and then found her voice.

"I... I am.. am Anna peige and....."
She had nothing to say, so I asked her
"Tell me about your work experience,"
"I have never worked before, this is my first interview,"-she gave an instant reply as quickly as possible
She noticed a smirk on my face and looked down
Somehow I enjoyed making her more uncomfortable. What's wrong with you, I thought.

"Tell me about your qualifications," I asked
" I.. I have done business management,"
"Ok,"
"I hire you for the job for my personal assistant. Make coffee for me , arrange my desk, files, even come with me to meetings You will start from tomorrow 8:30."

"And dont be late i dont like people coming late to work, you can leave now,". I said

She was still sitting I didn't know what she wanted. " do you have questions "I asked
"Ye.. yes i ju.. just want to know what is my income.,"
I raised my left eyebrow and scratched my jawline.. I was about to say the amount but stopped... I won't let her know this so easily "that depends on your work miss" I said straight and sounded rude not regretting.

On hearing me all she could do was put her head down.. she didn't utter a word and stood up, when she reached the door she turned around and gave an awkward smile expecting me to smile back and all I rolled my eyes at her.. she frowned and left the room.

I don't know why I was thinking about her. I never get attracted to any woman easily.

a knock made me come out of my thoughts and I saw Shawn peeping through the door.

" What do you want,". I said
"Isn't she beautiful and I think you are interested in her,". He said
"I dont think so and she is just my PA nothing more,".

" I dont agree with you. If you were not interested, then why where are you looking at her as if you have all rights on her," he said with a smirk.

He is right. I was looking at her as if she is my right. But now i just want to kill his smirk right now which is annoying me right now. I just glared at him.
"Shawn can we go for the meeting now it is late and we need to complete our work." I said just to change the topic.
"Someone is changing the topic, ,". Shawn said with a smirk.

"SHAWN" I said in a cold tone.
"Ok fine come we will go to the
Conference room and prepare the presentation. The meeting will start half an hour later because of some technical problems. And I hope the meeting is not disturbing you". Shawn said
"SHAWN". Then I throw the nearest thing at him and that was a pen. He was laughing at me. I just gave him disbelief look.

We both went to the conference room.

Anna pov:

Next day

Today I woke up early because i wasn't able to sleep, just thinking about the boss and the way he was giving me looks. I got up and got ready. Today no one was their at home. So I was not having much work to do.

Today was my first day. I wore something formal. So I wore a black shirt and blue jeans and I dint want to be late. I was in a mood to eat something, so I grabbed an apple from the table and went outside the house. I took a bus because i don't have enough money left in my bag.

I reached on time. But i dint know where should I go first or where is my table or cabin. So I went to the receptionist first. But I don't like her looks. I don't have any other option so I went near her but I came in the way of a guy. He was the same guy whom I saw in the office with the CEO.

"Hello miss I am Shawn Aiden you can call me Shawn. May I know your name miss," he said
"Hiii ... I am Anna Peige,".

"Nice to meet a lovely lady like you,".
I just smiled at him as no one had told me that before.

He was about to say something but was interrupted by a girl. Who looked around my age? She said something to him and he excused himself and went away and they left me alone. So I took the lift and go to 7th floor.

I was just standing awkwardly in front of the ceo's cabin. Then I heard the lift. I turned around and saw him wearing a blue suit. He was eyeing something on his phone. He walked passed me without even glancing at me. I just stood there thinking what to do and i finally knocked on the door. He asks me to come in.

Then I went inside. He said "miss peige today is your first day so I will tell you the things which you have to do. First you have to get me my black coffee without sugar. Then arrange my schedule for the day, arrange my files, my desk and ya you have to be around with me where every I go like parties or any meetings."

I just nodded my head. Then I asked him "May I know where do I have to sit".

He just pointed his finger somewhere. I just gave him a questioned look and turned around and saw a table opposite to his cabin. Now he can see me every second because his cabin's door was made of glass. I sighed and was about to leave, but he said
"First get me my black coffee and then do the other work." Why can't he have manners and ask me politely?

I just nodded and left his cabin.
The cafeteria was on the 2nd floor; I took the lift and went to the 2nd floor. I went inside the cafeteria and took a cup of black coffee for him and one for me with sugar. I was thinking how can a person drink black coffee without sugar. With that thought I went near to his cabin and knocked on the door.

I heard him and went inside. I place the coffee on the table with my shaking hand and accidently the coffee fell on my hand and his file.

"I am sorry I am sorry" I was terrified and was about to cry.
