At the end of the day Emily reminded Skyla about the homework due the next day and then parted at the school gate and walked home.

By the time Emily was home her mum ,Caroline, was  already making dinner." Took you long enough!" Her mother said in a playfully way " sorry mum just..just lost in thought"
" Ok. Well dinners almost ready so would you lay the table and then get your dad to come down please?"
"Yep!"
" your a very good girl Emily. Thank you! If you want why don't we have a treat night at the weekend?"
"Yes please!" Treat night was Emilys favorite nights because they have a nice dinner as always but then they all cuddle up on the sofa and watch a movie and they take it in turns to choose a movie with sweets and chocolate and popcorn. Emily always got excited for these nights.

Once Emily had finished laying the table and chatting to her mum she went upstairs to get her dad
But as she did she herd him screaming. So she jumped the last three steps and saw that her dad was OK and that he had just spilt his cup of tea on the carpet.so Emily ran back downstairs, snatched up the kitchen roll, ran back up and started cleaning up the tea spillage "Oh thank you Em you are so helpful!" Her dad said as he bent down to pick the mug up
"It's OK. What are daughters for?"

After dinner Emily went upstairs into her bedroom with baby blue walls,a large wooden bed with as white as snow sheets and a matching wooden desk full of school books ,paper ,pens, pencils and then some other random stuff.Emily sat down at her desk pulled out her school diary and her books but the moment they hit the desk "AGGGGGGGG!!!!!!" Emily covered her ears then ran downstairs like a lion was chasing her. "Mum!!?? Dad!!??"
"Swetheart?? What wrong?"
Oh nothing I thought I herd you call for me."
"OK now off to bed.... I love you."
"I love you too." When Emily got back upstairs she jumped onto her bed with her head in the pillow and said "What just happened to me?!"
