"Akaashi meet (Y/N), (Y/N) meet Akaashi," Bokuto announced,
"Nice to meet you," (Y/N) greeted Akaashi with a smile and a slight bow,
"You too," After he'd finished all that filled the room was an awkward silence, that was eventually filled by an over excited Bokuto,
"Hey, (Y/N)!" He was met by an acknowledging hum from the girl who had started to head back to the ice,
"Do you wanna come with us to get some hot cocoa?"
"I'd love to but I have to stay and practice," (Y/N) answered,
"Oh..." Bokuto started but was interrupted,
"We can wait until you're done," Bokuto gawped at Akaashi with his eyes wide, this was so out of character for the younger boy and Bokuto was too astounded to speak,
"I enjoy watching you skate, anyway."
(Y/N)'s face ignited into a bright crimson and she let out a small, melodic giggle,
"Okay, I guess so,"
Akaashi let a slight smile slip into his face, which just made the girls face light up more. She started skating again and Akaashi leaned on the barrier of the rink, watching the girl and the patterns she made in the ice.
"Ohoho," Bokuto nudged Akaashi's shoulder with a wink, "Is Akaashi crushing?"
"No, I'm not," the boy spoke, his words hushed to hide the lies, "I just like the way she skates."
"Sure, sure," Bokuto mock agreed, adding air quotes around his next sentence,"just like the way she skates." This earned him an elbow in the side before Akaashi returned his attention to the ice and the girl on it.
