Stowaway (a Star Trek reboot/2009 movie fanfic) UNDER EDITING

Okay, I have a few things to say.

#1 I haven't updated this story in a while because I'm having a little trouble getting the latest chapter up to my standards and I won't update until then because I'm not going to let you guys read anything I don't think is good enough. You're my readers and you deserve to have the best I can give you which means I have to make each chapter perfect in my opinion (minus the odd autocorrect and grammar mistake) for it to be suitable for you to read because if I'm not putting my all into my work I shouldn't be an author

#2 You may think it's annoying that something new happens in each chapter. You might be thinking 'gosh, what mediocre writing' or 'can't she make these things go for longer?' but I make them like this for a reason. This is a reboot fanfic and the reboot is a remake of the Original Series and in that, something new happens every episode excepting the occasional two-parter. I decided to keep this particular fan fiction in the spirit of TOS and I want you guys to know this was intentional. If you want continuous chapters, read Space: the Final Frontier which is my spinoff of this story because that's what's going to happen in that story.

#3 When I edit all my chapters at the end of the story, I may delete all of the authors notes and I want your help to decide. I'm saying this because sometimes when you read a completed story and it has authors notes like 'sorry I didn't update' it can be a little irritating, but mine don't really say that (I don't think) so I'm not entirely sure whether I should keep them there or erase them all

#4 How long should I make this story? I was thinking 20-25 chapters, but I might make it short (only the 5 year mission) and concentrate on the spinoff. I'd like you to help me decide that too because I value your insight and in reality the story has more to do with you because if it was all for me I simply wouldn't have published it, so since the basis is you, I'd love it if you could comment your choices
