At home .....

I walked inside the quiet house to see the light from the TV on.

Jay was laying on the couch.

I nudge him a little bit to wake up.

" you finally home " he said in his sleepy voice

" yea I had to do some extra work at the shop "

" oh it's some pizza left the microwave for you " he said yawning.

" thanks but you need to get to bed " I said helping him stand up.

" I know but I just wanna to stay up for you "

we walked all the way up to his room.

" y-you hear that " he said to me

All of a sudden I heard weeping like someone was crying.

" that's Junie " I said realizing the voice

We made our way to her door to hear it getting louder.

I open up her door and I turn on her lamp light to see her crying hysterically.

" baby girl what's wrong " I said putting her in my lap.

" I-I miss mommy and d-daddy , I just want th-them back " she said hiccuping

All I did was pull her closer to me.

I looked up to see Jay staring back at me like what to do.

" look Junie your mommy and daddy are in a good place "

" and they are watching over you princess too" Jay added

" really " June said looking back and forth at me and Jay.

We both nodded our heads.

" can you and Uncle Jay sleep with me tonight " she said pouting.

I was hesitant about that.

" uh sure "

" it's fine with me " Jay said to her

Junie had a queen size bed so we all could fit.

" thank you " June said

She was in the middle while me and Jay was on both sides.

I instantly felt asleep.

" you going to sign for basketball tryouts " my friend Malik said

We was sitting in lunch.

" yea maybe my uncle said I should "

" I definitely agree with him and yo unc Jaysean Johnson too "

I nodded my head. Not everyone know who my uncle is and I would like for it to stay that way.
