Time never seemed to slow down for Nala. It was almost as if the moment she closed her eyes to fall asleep wrapped around Namjoon, she had to wake up to reality.
Everyday Amara writes down her thoughts and feelings in her journal Namjoon gave her one year for her birthday. She writes about the problems she's faced and the unceasing whispers in her head. She thought they went away for good, but times like this they came back with a roar.
She questions herself.
She questions Namjoon.
Do you really love me?
What lies next for us?
Questions that Namjoon refused to answer. "You already know how I feel about you, Nala." He would say.
But she felt empty. She felt this so called "undying" love coming to a close, that of which she feared the most. They've been together for so long, but now they're drifting away.
And as she rubs the sleepiness from her eyes, the realisation of it all kicks in.
It's senior year and the clock is ticking...
