What it's like

Sometimes, I don't want to recall
The first time I lost sight of my goal
Because someone came out of the blue
And that person was you

Yet I would never admit
That you've made me complete
Like when you said that I'm like fireworks, scattered
I'm more beautiful when shattered

But that alone can't stop this woe of mine
When our memories begin to entwine
It's like putting salt into my wounds
It really hurts-- that's what it's like
