The sky, the moon, and me

Instead of wishing upon a star
I called out to the moon
Despite of staring at it from afar
I'm still hoping to reach it soon

So I could let go of this heaviness
I've tried to carry for so long
And to fill up all this emptiness
For all that went wrong

If only I could fly
I've been there long ago
I'll keep it company in the sky
While the earth admire its glow

Therefore, if that was the case
The moon wouldn't be so lonely
In times it asked the stars for an embrace
It'll only be the sky, the moon-- and me
