I stand on the edge
Of the cliff that is steep
Curiosity breaks through me
Wanting to take a leap

In its tempting depth
I saw what lies within
Little white flowers
Pure and free from sin

I had nowhere else to go
No other paths to choose
Yet the blossoms down the ridge
Said I have nothing left to loose

Reluctantly I refused
To jump with all my might
Yet I know someday I will fall
From the blindness of the night
