I helped Finn bring his things to the guest room, I assumed he'd be staying long and I helped him unpack. "I'd say 7 months" I laughed "Really? That long? I was thinking 5" he dropped the shirt he was folding and mumbled "crap"
Earning a laugh from me.
Once we finished I gave him a tour.
We started at the front door.
And worked our way around the first floor
"There isn't much but my 'chill' room basically down in the basement" I pointed at the gate that lead down to the basement.
We made our way upstairs
"So here's my parents room, then here's the upstairs bathroom right across and there my room across from your room" I ran out of breath and he laughed at me.
"Thanks for the tour" he said as he stood in his door way and is stood in mine. "Anytime" I smirked.
We were in out rooms for 30 minutes when there was a knock on my door.
Finn pov
I'll be the first to admit (Y/N) looked pretty, well I mean pretty good. I don't like her but she is quite the cute girl.
She's funny too.
After the tour I went into my room and texted my friend Jack
F: hey jack I've officially unpacked.
J niceee who you living with
F a girl our age named (Y/N), her mother and father.
J ooooh (Y/N)? What's she like?
F shut up
F she's funny, and nice, I guess
J what do you mean by "I guess"
F I haven't really gotten to know her I'm texting you and being anti social in my room

I got up and took two steps out of my door and knocked
General pov
The door finn stood in front of opened revealing the short brunet. "Yes mr wolfhard?" She smirked
"I just wanted to uh know if you wanted to hang out" he was at lose of words
"Sure, where to?"
"IS there a nearby park?" He asked "of course" she shut her door and got ready.
She met him downstairs
As he walked talking to her mother.
"---this role" her mother said
"Yeah I was really exited it's my first big role" he looked down
"It's like you and (Y/N) are the same person" she laughed
"Hey" (Y/N) interrupted.
"How far IS it" Finn asked
"Down the street" she said as she grabbed and apple
Because apples are yummy.
She tossed one to fin. And they walked out the door.
They arrived at the park and sat on their swings
Eating their apples.
"It's late august , don't you have school"
He asked
"1. School starts September 1st here
2. I have a role to play in a show I'm sure I'm not going to hell" she laughed
There was a moment of silence
"Tell me a little about yourself Wolfhard" she said
Finn pov
"Well I'm from Vancouver, I have one close friend named Jack and that's about it" I felt so stupid
But of course before I could add my phone buzzed
"Speak of the devil" I mumbled
"Jack?" She asked "yup" i rolled my eyes
She laughed and I smirked
"Hey" I said "Tell me about (Y/N)!!"
(Y/N) pov
I could hear him through the phone and I fell off my swing laughing "Well she's no different than what I told you beside that shes fallen off a swing laughing at you" he replied
They ended the call and videochatted
"Show me (Y/N)!" He practically demanded
I cover my face. "GO AWAY FINN" I kicked him but he dropped his phone onto my stomach
I got up and fixed myself then he showed me to his friend "I hate you" I mumbled and crossed my arms starting to walk back home "Hey you cant leave me I'll get lost" he said trying to catch up "read signs" I replied ."I don't speak québécois"
He hung up with jack and caught up "non? Tu comprend pas? Aw comment va tu survive pour 7 mois au Québec si tu peut pas parler français?" (No? You don't understand? Aw how will you survive 7 months in Quebec if you can't speak French?)
Finn pov
I was left shocked by her perfect french.
"Wow" I said "you really do know french, so do me a favour and translate" she laughed "too lazy" we arrived back in her house "do you really not know any french at all" she asked " I learnt a bit in school but lost it I just know basics" I shrugged (a/n idk if he really does or even learnt French to sure how far the French language travels in Canada but I'm only using the French since everything is french in Quebec)
"Je pense je besoin parlé français juste pour toi." (I think I need to speak French just for you) she said
"No PLEASE don't " I begged
