Chapter 5: The Journal

Dipper's POV
I can't belive what I did yesterday. Why did I kiss her? I mean.. was it the right thing to do?
Man, I should next time think about it than I do something like that. Ugh, I feel terribly. I should go for a walk into woods, I guess.

Wendy's POV
I am still thinking about yesterday. Was it like friend kiss? Or something more that that..? Jeesh, chill out, Wendy. He's not into woodcutter girls for sure! But maybe he.. NO! He's NOT and that's it!
I fell into many pillows I have on my bed. I should text Robbie, he wanted to see me today.
Grudgingly, I reached for my phone.

W: Hey, wassup. Still wanna hang out?
R: Heck yea! I want 2 c u, babe.
W: Robbie, don't call me babe. U know I hate it.
R: Chill, bae. But anyways, wanna c my new muscles? And then kiss?

Is he fuc-ugh, frickin' kidding me? That's how he treats his girl? Wow. What a choice, Wendy. What a choice.

W: Eh.. What about woods? We can go for a walk.
R: Whatever, bae. We can kiss anywhere ;)

Yeaah, sure. As if I would kiss you. I started to prepare for our walk. About half and hour later we went into woods.

"So, how was you day, Robbie?"
"Boooooring! But now I can already kiss you." he winked.
"Eh.. cool. Well, do you know what happened to me today? I went to check my brothers and-"
"Yeah, yeah. Nice. But look!" he started showing his 'muscles'. Gosh, even I have bigger and I am GIRL. Maybe woodcutter, but still.
"Cool, cool.." I said while we were walking throught the woods. After a few second s we heard some sounds. Robbie started to trembling. "What a hero." I rolled my eyes.
"Hey, it's scary here!"
"You don't wanna check out what was it?"
"Oh, heck no, Wendy! Maybe it's a zombie! Or something worse! My parents!" I ignored him and walked closely to that sound. I found Dipper walking in woods too.
"Hey, Dipper!" I waved at him. He saw me and came to me.
"Sup, Wendy." he smiled adorably. "What are you doing here?"
"Oh, just walking around with Robbie." Robbie was still kinda trembling. But when he saw Dipper he stopped.
"Oh, it's just you. How was it? Dopper?"
"Dipper, Rowbie. I mean Robbie." I 'smiled' at him. "Wanna go with us?" I asked Dipper.
"You sure? I mean.. I don't want to be third wheel." he laughed.

Dipper's POV
Man.. This girl.. Well.. Wendy.. She's really interesting. Her eyes, hair, smile. Heck, even her hat - I kinda like it all. Is something wrong with me? When I think that Wendy, which is a lot younger than me, is really pretty?
Nah, but still. She has that boy. What was his name again. Yea, right.. Robbie. Just when I am looking at him I can tell that he isn't paying attention to her at all? Why? She's the best he can even ever get. What a foolish boy...
Meanwhile I wasn't paying attention to reality I realized that Robbie was telling me something.

"So, you're going to leave soon?" he started. Wendy immediately poked him.
"Robbie! Stop it!" she frowned. "Don't be like that. I think that Dipper is cool enough to be here like you are."
Wait. Hold on right there. Was this something like compliment?! I swear that I felt myself blushing.
"Heh.. Still not as cool as you are, Wendy." I laughed.
"Of course not! I am like God, dude! I am the coolest!" we laughed a lot on our walk. Except Robbie. He was jealous for sure, but whatever. I didn't care at all. I was walking next to Wendy and I felt somekind of warmth inside me. It wasn't that strong, but I felt that. I knew that Wendy would be somehow important to me. As a friend for sure..

"So, Dipper! Where are you, well, where are WE going?" she smiled.
"How should I know that? I am new here, remember?" I chuckled.
"Just decide which way we will go, jeez!"
"Fine! Um.. this way!" I pointed to a grassy path.
"Good for me." she went first, but after her went Robbie. He didn't seem happy at all. Why, tho? Lol.
"What's bothering you, little fella?" I grined.
"Hey, I mean it, dude. She's M I N E. Don't try anything, it won't work." he walked away from me, near to Wendy.
Hah, if I would be scared of him. I just want to meet here new people. Why is this a problem?

Wendy's POV
We walked quite awhile without saying anything at all. It was awkward as fu- it was very awkward... yeah. Robbie tried multiple times to kiss me, but I wasn't Ina right mood for that. As always. I don't know.. maybe he's not the right one. But then who is? Stop it, Wendy. Not now. I shook my head. I saw that Dipper stopped and he was looking at a tree.
"You okay, dude?" I checked him and walk to him.
"Yeah.. Well.. There's something odd about this tree.." I looked at that tree.
"Like what?"
"Don't you see?"
"Man...  If I could see it, I wouldn't be asking right now."
"Riiiight. You see, he's not a well-known type. I mean, I've never seen him. Its color, surface, shape.. it also has a strange bark."
"Really, Dipper? You want to solve some tree-mystery? Or what?" I laughed really hard this time.
"Yea, you're right. But still.. there's something wrong.." he lightly bit his lip.
.... OHMYGOSHWENDYKEEPITTOGETHER.
I blushed extremely.
"Oh my! I should go! See you tomorrow, bro!" I ran home. I think that I left something not important there.. Oh, right. Robbie. But seriously, why did I do that? That was so lame! Man, tomorrow this will be so awkward!

Dipper's POV
Wow. Wendy just ran away. Was it because of me? I just thought that this tree look odd. Maybe she had something important.. maybe.
I looked again at that tree and realized that there's a place. I gently knocled at tree and I heard a metal sound.
"Whoa.." I wispered.
I couldn't dominated my curiosity and I tried to open it. It was a fake little door-spot. I've really never seen something like that. There was a radio. I touched at one button and heard opening something behind me. I slowly turned around and found a spot near to me, which was in the ground. I walked there and saw a strange looking book there.
"A book?" I reached for it. It looked like a journal. And when I opened it my whole perspective about this Gravity Falls started to change.
