A/N (IGNORE THIS) Anyone who understand Roman Numerals should have a bad feeling about this chapter. Mwahahahaha.

They ran into the battle. Percy let himself be taken over by the fight. His two swords cut through everything they came close. They were perfect extensions to Percy's body; an arch of death and destruction.

(A/N Did you sea what I did there?)

His three younger sisters were nearby, shooting monsters at seemingly impossible speeds. The four were once again the most effective of the whole army.

The four split up to cause more damage to the monster and evil demigod army.

After a few minutes of fighting, Camp Jupiter came from behind Tartarus's army, taking them by surprise. The campers and hunters were soon clearly on the winning side.

People from both sides died. Percy could feel deaths all around him, of monsters and friends. Thanatos dutifully took them to the Underworld, and some souls went to the DOA studios on their own. Percy allowed his thoughts to wander as he put his body in autopilot mode, something he can only do while fighting.

But Percy's thoughts came to a halt when he saw the man of his nightmares.

There was no effect on him physically except for a slight, momentarily, almost unnoticeable falter in his movements. But Alice's worried glance showed him that he didn't hide it well enough.

Tartarus looked the exact same as when Percy saw him in, well, Tartarus, along with practically every time he closed his eyes.

Percy decided to start to make his way over to him, and he fought monsters and enemies with renewed energy.

Every thought he had only made him more energized and more powerful and dangerous to his enemies. They were sad and painful too, but as he remembered hearing in the song "Superheroes" by The Script, he just had to "turn the pain into power."

He broke through the wall of monsters and into the center of the army where Tartarus was.

"Tartarus. Let's end this now." Percy growling, his beautiful eyes swirling angrily, as if a form was brewing inside them.

"Oh, we can, but then you wouldn't be able to save the one thing you lived, sorry, died for."

"No. . ."

Tartarus grinned, his beady red eyes glinting cynically.

(A/N Thank you, DemigodInTraining)

Percy then proceeded to charge Tartarus.

We fought for a while. But Percy accidentally made a mistake, and Tartarus went for the killing shot. . .

But then someone jumped in the way of the hit and Tartarus hit them instead. And that somebody was. . .

Alice.

She crumpled the the ground with a spear sticking out of her chest.

A yell forced it's way out of Percy's mouth. It seemed to echo in the air, and everyone heard it, but kept fighting. Percy charged Tartarus again in a rage.

He swung his swords at Tartarus, who was barely able to turn and block the strike with the sword he had drawn.

They fought, neither able to get the upper hand until—

Percy coughed up blood, a sword sticking through his heart. But Percy just pulled out the sword and spat out some teeth. He smiled wickedly, his teeth bloody, some missing. His wound closed up and stopped bleeding.

"What?" Tartarus spluttered, eyes wide. "How—what—but—how did you live?"

Percy's smile grew and became more wicked. "I'm already dead, you *****." Then, he swung his sword and cut Tartarus's head from his body and his ugly red head rolled around on the floor.

(A/N Anyone catch the reference?)

Percy hadn't noticed the fighting stop. The battlefield was littered with dead demigods(and mortals from the hunters) and monster dust.

They had won, but not without a price. As the demigods and huntresses went to honor their fallen friends, Percy ran as fast as he could to Alice, tears blurring his vision, threatening to fall.

Alice had survived this long. Percy had a feeling that Thanatos had a hand in that.

He dropped to his knees next to her.

Alice looked up at him, then she looked at the spear sticking out of her chest.

"Oh look." She coughed, smiling weakly. "I've been impaled."

Percy smiled slightly, but his heart wasn't in it.

"A-Alice," he said, his voice quiet as he held back tears.

"Percy," she said. "Don't be sad. I told you I would always be there for you. You are my big brother."

"And you are my little sister," Percy replied.

Alice smiled. "I will care for anyone that matters to you," she said. "Any of your friends that die, I will care for them. For you, big brother."

Percy put some drachmas into Alice's hand so that she could get into the Underworld.

"Then you will be a good big sister to Astería," Percy whispered.

Alice didn't know who this Astería person was, but all that mattered was that they matter to Percy. She'd find Astería, and she'd apparently be a big sister for her. She was determined to do this.

Alice's sea green eyes grew distant, and then the light that was once in her eyes were gone. They stared unblinkingly, at Percy, never to see again. But Percy couldn't help but notice that Alice had died smiling.

Percy leaned down and gently kissed his little sister's forehead.

Mwahahahahahahahaha

I told you I had plans.

This was also chapter thirteen. I couldn't help but make it sad.

I know, I'm evil.
