I've been waiting since Turkey Day!
Not just presents
Not just candy.
Family is the key.
Mistletoes
Singing Let It Snow
While putting up the Christmas tree.
Christmas dinners
Chilling winter, and
Watching holiday shows.
Jacket buttons
Snow-filled shut ins
Overcoming a runny nose.
Reindeer racing
Santa's cookies are baking,
He's coming, can't you hear?
As I stand here, near
With Christmas cheer
Saying
Merry Christmas to you
And a Happy New Year!
