WARNINGS: IT GETS KINDA GRAPHIC, SO A MILD BLOOD AND GORE WARNING

NOTES: Ok, so on my Tumblr imagines blog, someone requested a Suicide Squad preference, (It was like, what is would be like to be friends with them, or something?) and I came up with a pretty cute idea, I think. I don't write Oneshots on Tumblr, since I do that here, plus I owe you all a Killer Croc imagine. Enjoy!

Well, this was just great, wasn't it?

It seems that you had upset a few thugs, by refusing them a... Er, little bit of pleasure, if you catch my drift. So, now you were practically running for your life.

Your lungs felt like they were on fire, and your legs were quickly growing tired as you ran. Jumping over things, pushing people, and knocking them over.

You looked around as you ran, desperately trying to find somewhere to hide. An alleyway!

Ok, so maybe it wasn't the brightest idea, but you didn't have many options. Maybe you'd lose them? It was worth trying.

You dashed around the corner, disappearing into the alley. You pressed your back against the brick wall, breathing heavily. You allowed your body to slowly slide down the wall, until you were sitting, trying to catch your breath.

"Where did (He/She) go?!" You heard one of the thug's gruff voices say. You started to panic a little bit, but noticed a manhole a few feet in front of you.

'Maybe I'll meet the Ninja Turtles.' You thought sarcastically to yourself as you quickly crawled over to the cover on your knees.

"There she is!" Another one of the thug's voices said. You got a good hold on the cover and pulled it off with every ounce of strength you could.

You quickly scrambled down the ladder, hoping they would give up and leave you alone. You were wrong.

One of the guys almost grabbed your hand, but you dropped down before he could. The bad thing was, when you dropped down, you landed on your ankle wrong.

You gasped in pain, but got up and limped as fast as you could away. The smell was absolutely horrific. Your eyes watered from it, but you kept going.

You heard loud footsteps behind you. Can't these guys take a hint? Guess not. You squinted a little, to possibly see a little bit. You noticed a pipe on the ground about five feet ahead.

You picked it up as you went past it, then turned around and threw it like a spear at the thugs.

CLANG.

It hit one of them directly in the face. You mentally high fives yourself, but realized two of them were still chasing you. Then the worst possible thing happened.

You. Freaking. Tripped.

Welp, you were dead. In a sad attempt, you tried crawling backwards, but ended up hitting a dead end. You shut your eyes tightly, embracing for the worst, but it didn't come. Not then, at least.

You opened one eye, to see the two remaining thugs backed up against the wall, looks of terror across their ugly faces. Your look of fear was replaced by a look of confusion. You slowly turned your head to look into the water, and you almost screamed at what you saw.

Something, with glowing golden eyes was standing in the water. It was dark, so you couldn't make out exactly what it was, but it was big. Like, really big. You stared at it for what felt like an eternity. Then it moved.

It lashed at one of the thugs, pulling him into the water. The other thug screamed and tried to run, but the thing pulled him under as well. You stared in horror, as the creature ripped the two men apart, biting into them. The sounds of crunching bone were disgusting.

You wanted to run, but you were too afraid to move, in fear of what that thing might do to you. But, you couldn't stay there forever. So, you took a deep breath, and tried to stand. You fell, because of your ankle, and grunted in pain.

You heard the thing shift in the water, and felt something staring at you. A low growl filled the silence. You gasped a little when the creature rose out of the water, onto the concrete platform. It's movements were animalistic, but almost... human. It seemed to walk on two legs, but all you could really see were his glowing eyes.

The thing just... stood there, looking at you. You were frozen in place, breathing heavily. The thing let out another low growl, coming a few steps towards you. It knealt down to your level, and grabbed you by the arm. You screamed a little, shutting your eyes again. You felt yourself being drug across the platform.

You were expecting to get drenched in sewer water any second, bracing to be ripped apart limb by limb as those thugs were, but you never were. You suddenly felt yourself be picked up, and flung over the thing's shoulders. You were then pushed onto the dirt of the alley you had ran into to get away from the thugs.

You quickly looked down the manhole, to see if you could get a glimpse of the thing, but all you saw was the rippling water where you assumed the thing jumped in. You sighed, rolling over on your back, staring up at the now night sky.

What the heck just happened?

You thought you were dreaming for a second, that is, until you tried to stand and the pain of your ankle made you realize this was very real.

You crawled over to a dumpster, and grabbed the edge, pulling yourself up. You gripped the side, stabilizing yourself. You had only sprained it, but wow, did it hurt. You limped out of the alley, and down the sidewalk. You called a cab to take you home, since you didn't want to walk.

Once you got to your apartment, you sat on the couch, thinking about the events that had just happened. Why didn't that thing hurt you? Why did it help you? Your curiosity was driving you insane. You decided to find out. You were going to go back there and find the thing.

So, you went to bed, slightly fearing what is to come. And with all the thoughts swimming in your head,  you fell into a restless sleep.
