The sun was shining brightly outside as Elle Dameron got up in that morning, her brown tangled hair that was anywhere but the messy bun she had put it on the previous night, getting up she rubbed the sleep from her eyes, her brother's bed empty next to hers showed that he was already awake.

Sighing the 16 year old walked to the bathroom connected to their room and quickly took a shower and got dressed in a pair of black training joggers, a sweatshirt that from her older brother that she converted into a crop sweatshirt, her black trainers and let her hair down, brushing it and making twin braids.

Once ready she walked out of the room and outside, allowing the sun to hit her skin, she started walking around seeing that she had to wait until it was half past 10 in the morning to start training. Suddenly she heard movement and turned around only to be picked up by her thighs and holding her up high.

"Ben!" the 16 year old squealed laughing her head off while holding onto her best friend's shoulders, Ben Solo, the son of General Leia Organa and Han Solo, who everyone knew to be someone who wanted to follow his family footsteps, was holding the girl he had met 6 years ago up high and smiling. Nowadays he only ever smiled when and/or around Elle Dameron, she was his only reason to be happy.

"You woke up quite late today." the 16 year old boy teased his anchor with a boyish smile playing on his lips, his long black hair falling backwards slightly as he looked up at the young brunette, Elle felt her cheeks warm up slightly as she answered "Someone wouldn't allow me to go to bed." Ben smiled and teased again "Well I wonder who the person could have been? I need to tell them that you need your sleep." causing the girl in his arms to giggle.

"Good morning Ben, Danielle." General Organa and her husband and her brother said as they passed the two young kids. "When do you reckon they will see their feelings for one another?" the general asked, "I don't know? Never? They are both to stubborn." Han Solo says causing his wife to hit his chest in a playful yet warning manner.

"I don't know but they are both very strong with the force." Luke Skywalker told his sister shocking her and Han "Elle is Force-sensitive?" Leia asked looking back at the two teenagers who were still talking, "Yes and just as strong as Ben is." Luke added following his twin sister's stare.

Meanwhile the two young ones were still standing in the same way they were when the three leaders passed by, "You really shouldn't have kept me awake that late." Elle said, her hazel brown eyes looking straight into Ben's chocolate ones straight into his soul, he felt like an open book around her, comfortable, protected, safe, home.

"We were having fun you can't really blame for wanting to keep you with me when we were having fun." Ben confessed making her jump as he tightened his grip on her making sure she didn't fall, anyone who saw the two would think that they were dating but little did they know that the two were only and only friends. "Elle come on. We're going to test the new ships." Elle's older brother, Poe, called out.

Ben put Elle down but pulled her to him hugging her tightly, his chin resting on her head seeing she was 5"2' and he was 6"2' meaning she was a whole foot smaller than him, Elle wrapped her arms around his neck and tangled her fingers in his long hair running them slowly over his scalp, this caused him to hide his face in her hair and let out a small moan before muttering "You're the devil." which let to Elle starting to giggle, while his hands were settled on her waist her decided to run his fingers on her sides knowing that she was extremely ticklish.

Elle squealed and hugged him even tighter leading him to stop and grab her again hugging her even more tighter, "Be careful..." Ben whispered in her ear causing her to shiver, she was now on her toes her head resting on the crook of his neck instead of his chest nodding she planted a kiss there as he pulled back and planted a long kiss on her forehead before letting run off to meet her awaiting brother.
