max: Oi cunt you free today?

george: Yeah what's up?

max: Let's go get some coffee, I got this coupon that expires soon

max: And I'm picking up a game I pre-ordered at ebgames.

george: Alright be there in 30.

max: You BETTER be here in 30 you filthy jap I'll fucking kill you if you arrive like 2 hrs late

george: Hahaha i'll be there

george got up and changed into decent clothes; a simple white tee, a blue flannel, black skinny jeans and a jacket since it's cold outside. the streets were surprisingly quiet, the roads are not that crowded either. just in time, he saw a vacant taxi and hailed it.

he checked his phone for the time and smirked, it took him only 20 minutes to arrive max's place. he walked in the open gate and tried opening the front door, which was locked.

"max," george called, "open the fucking door you fucking cunt!" george laughed as he saw max open the door, brushing his teeth. "you're gross."

"like my shirt?" max managed to say with his mouth filled with bubbles.

"aww, hell yeah," george said in his filthy frank voice when he noticed max wearing his black I EAT ASS t-shirt.

max laughed, "why are you so early?"

"i literally just finished taking a bath when you texted me, so, yeah," george said and sat on the couch, "hey, did you change your wifi password?"

"yes, i can't tell you though," max said.

"why the fuck not?" george frowned.

"just because," max shrugged.

"come on, what is it?"

"i can't tell you though," max smiled smugly.

"meh, whatever," george sighed in defeat.

"the password is 'icanttellyouthough', cunt," max said as he threw a can of beer to george.

"ow, i wasn't ready!" george exclaimed, "what, really?"

max opened and drank some of his beer and said, "yeah, really."

george typed the password in his phone, and it gave him access to the wifi connection.

"the fuck, who does that?" george asked.

"geniuses, cle-ver peo-ple," max said.

"shut the fuck up," george said, "don't make me kiss you."

"you're gay," max laughed and threw a box of cigs to him, "oh, you left those here the other night."

"oh, thanks," he said and lit up one of the cigarettes, "so what you been up to?"

"nothing, really. been hanging out with katt, but she started flying again a couple of days ago," max said, "you?"

"max," george said, "i actually came here early to talk to about something."

"about what? you okay dude?" max said, genuinely worried. george didn't usually open up to max about these things. he thought that max seemed like the type who would understand him since he has a girlfriend, so he decided to go for it.

"yeah, i'm okay," george said in a low voice, "i know this is stupid, but how do you not get attached right away, like, to people.."

"seriously?" max chuckled.

george looked at him and rolled his eyes, "fuck, nevermind."

"no, no, i'm sorry, holy shit," max said quickly, "it's just that, it's pretty surprising to hear that question from you... from fuckin' george miller."

"mhm," george hummed and drank some of his beer, "i don't know either. i'm surprised too, to be honest."

"ah, damn george," max sighed, "hmm, let me think. i don't know, but try to always keep in your mind that people come and go. like, nothing's permanent."

george furrowed his brows, "hmm, okay."

"but that's just an advice, alright? it's still your decision at the end of the day," max gave him a friendly pat on the back.

"thanks man," george smiled, "i needed that talk."

"anytime, you're not gay after all," max said, trying to cheer him up.

"ha-ha, suck my dick, cunt," george said and punched max's arm.

"ow! that fucking hurt george," max groaned.

"stop being a pussy," george said.

max laughed and grabbed his jacket and keys off the table, "shut the fuck up, let's just get out of here."

george turned off his phone, put it in his pocket and followed max outside.

"okay, people come and go. they come and go."
