Fellow Feeling

77 8 1

Please, shield me from this pain
Hold me close and wipe this stain
I sense the fellow feeling stirs within

I can't remember how to feel
This little life has no appeal
When that fellow feeling comes again

Take, take the blade I wield
and shake away the battlefield
I miss the fellow feeling's safe embrace

Come forth, old friend and be seen
How can one resist
Your familiar warmth, so crisp and clean
Wash over me

You've caught me in my darkest hour
Your sweet calls no longer sour
That fellow feeling holds me once again
