This Hole, my Heart

I've got a heart to satisfy
It cries and begs and testifies
To everything that I have known
With tenderness and pleading eyes

I've got an itch, I cannot pinch,
It grows and grows, inch by inch
It pleads for me to face to show
The threats of love I've yet to sew

You are my growing itch
An undeniable burning pinch
It begs me to scratch and bite and gnaw
Until my teeth turn red and raw

I want to pin you down
Throw your body to the ground
With all my love, with all this pain
I want you to feel mine

I want to burn you
You scream and turn to
pull away from my
Desperate yearn

In a final break of heat
Your eyes meet mine in mere defeat
Our body's break and leave to part
And so is left this hole, my heart
