"I think you should.. go to Jade mountain. It should be a good break from the stress of being my right wing man, y'know?" Queen Thorn wrapped a warm wing around the nervous drangonet. "You'll be fine Qibli, I promise! Just make some friends!" Qibli looked down at his talons, contemplating the idea just thrown at him. "I- I um.. i- guess I could-" "Great!" She swiftly walked to her desk to talk to an important looking Sandwing. Qibli sometimes forgot she was the new queen of the Sandwings. He shivered, qibli was never a very.... extroverted  dragonet. He preferred to quietly observe all possible outcomes of his  actions. Due to this, he normally had really fast, long, and generally sporadic thoughts. It got a little overwhelming sometimes. "You can do this Qibli, just make friends! Shouldn't be too hard...." He whispered to himself before slouching and putting his wings over his head. "Oh who am I kidding?! I'll never be able to do what Thorn finds so easy! I'm gonna fail my queen, just like I always do..." he put his head in his claws. Qibli, if you couldn't tell, is probably the most paranoid dragonet in all of Pyrrhia. It's like he's incapable of having any positive thoughts about himself or his actions. Not to mention how introverted he is. "I guess I have to leave tonight to get there on the first day..." he sighed and blinked back tears, stinging his eyes. "You can do this Qibli. Just make friends. Easiest thing in Pyrriha." He repeated this during the whole first day of flying. Finally, he decided to rest when he couldn't feel his wings, thinking that's probably not a sign to continue flying. Qibli landed on a small mountain top, using some rocks to massage his soar wings. The morning marked his next flight, and he was the furthest from ready. He began to have his 'last second doubts' as he called them, since this seemed to happen quite frequently. He thought things like, 'what I'd no one likes me?' And 'what if I fail and, in turn, fail my queen?! AGAIN!!?' These negative comments played back to back in his mind as he flapped past tall mountains and thick green shrubbery. About 3 hours later, he reached his final destination; Jade Mountain Academy. "Ohhhh no.. is. It too late to turn back now??!" He spoke quietly, as to not draw attention to himself. He rested on a boulder, looking out at the school he was basically forced to attend. It did look beautiful from high up though. His eyes were drawn to the main entrance, where sunlight bounced off red, gold, blue, and green scales, like decorative lights against the stone backdrop. He pulled his wings tighter around him, to be as small as possible. He was NOT ready for the pressure of making everyone like him. All the other dragonets said goodbye to their families and hopped down to the entry cave excidedly. Qibli, had a very different approach to his first day. He slowly hopped down the rock ledges to the very bottom, where the cave loomed up above him, about to swallow him along with everyone else. He gulped down the lump in his throat and took a tentative step forward and- THWACK! He had run into something. 'This is so embarrassing' he thought, 'great first impression qibli!' At first, he believed it to be a wall, but when it moved and stumbled, he knew it had to be a dragon. "I-I'm so so so sorry! It was my fault, I wasn't watching where I was going and I bumped into you, sorry. I thought you were a wall at first but then I realized you moved and then I knew you were a dragon; I should shut up." He spurted quickly. So quickly in fact, that he hadn't realized that throughout the duration of his vocal seizure, he had kept his eyes closed. When he opened them, he was met with icy blue ones staring back at him. "Watch it cactus licker!" The icewings voice was deep and smooth, like the cave he was trying to enter. "I- I said I was sorry.." Qibli whispered, almost to himself. "Excuse you!?" the other yelled, way too loud for Qibli's liking. "S-sorry!" he stuttered. "do you know who I am?!" Qibli shook his head. "I AM THE THE NEFEW OF QUEEN GLACIER, THE HEIR TO THE ICEWING THRONE!!" 'Jeez this guy is loud!' He thought. Qibli stared into his eyes for a moment. "Uhh.. sorry.......your majesty....?" the large blue dragon scoffed and stomped off into the cave yawning before the two of them. 'Great. He already hates me.. one down, I guess..' Qibli thought glumly as he walked into the cave, his tail slithering against the cold stone, his wings drooping to the floor, and his head hung low by his talons. "I knew I would never fit in.."
