So uh-

Hey guys- pffft

Terrible opening I know, considering it's been, what? Like two years? 

So that's what I came to talk about; I've gotten so many comments asking me to update this story and don't get me wrong, I'd love to! I really would like to keep writing this story, if for nothing but your guys' sake, but seriously, I haven't read wings of fire since I was in 7th grade (4 years ago!) and I hardly remember anything about it at this point...

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I, no matter how much I'd love to, am just not able to continue this story. I mean, really the only way I could would be to reread the entire series and, what with all this quarantine bull and having to do all my school work from home, that isn't exactly an option either.

I hate to do this to you guys but I'm afraid I'll be discontinuing this story for now.

Who knows? Maybe in another year I'll reread the series and come back with new writing experience and delete this authors note in favor of continuing what my younger self aspired to complete.

Again, I just wanna say that I am so sorry to everyone who cheered me on (I've read all the comments, they're all very sweet and I appreciate each one), and those of you who believed this story would continue. I know there's hardly any Qinter content out there- that's mostly why I wrote this- but I'm not qualified to write it anymore, as weird as that sounds.

Thank you to all the people who read and enjoyed this book, you're the reason I didn't give up on it sooner.

And please understand, I hardly remember the plot of the series, so it's probably best that I don't make things up and make this book even more inaccurate than it already is, lmao.
