5 months ago, Riverdale's it-girl Julia Knox abruptly left for boarding school in England. Or so everyone thought. Returning just in time for the new school year, she is shocked to learn of the changes that have taken place in the once sickeningly perfect town.
Betty Cooper, Julia's cousin, seems to be cracking under pressure and acting out of character. Her new friend Veronica Lodge seems to be influencing the once innocent girl.
Julia's across the street neighbor and occasional friend with benefits, Archie Andrews, is now even more good looking than when she left. Knowing him better than most people, his personality has also taken a mysterious turn.
Her former friend, Cheryl Blossom,has now taken Julia's spot on the River Vixens and isn't too keen on sharing the spotlight.
Jughead Jones, her old best friend from middle school,is trying to figure out the real reason as to why Julia left Riverdale.
