Emily's POV
"First place in the teen duet catergory goes to... entry number 37 this is Emily and Kenneth with Don't be afraid of the Dark!" Kenneth and I are duet partners, we have been since we were 5, we have chemistry when we dance. I mean we don't like each other though that would be weird we can't date, we don't like each other either so...
Kenneth's POV
Emily and I have been duet partners forever. We have a special connection when we dance, we don't like each other though, it wails be weird if we dated. We are undefeated so far, we have never lost a duet! We're Unstoppable!
Emily's POV
We all walked into the studio and Miss Abby was there. "Come in kids!" She said as she walked inside Studio A. I walked in with my friends, Gabe, Tati, Sean, Bailey, Josh, Will and Kenneth. "Everyone we will be welcoming a new student to the Abby Lee Dance Company" she said. "Kaitlyn" she added as I blonde girl walked in. "Hi!" We said waving. She stood next to miss Abby "Hi my name is Kaitlyn, I'm 16, I am a contemporary dancer and I am so excited to be here today" she said. She walked over and stood next to Sean. She seems nice. "Ok, we will be going into competition next week and there will be a group dance and a duet" she said. Another win is coming for Kenneth and I! "The group is a hip hop number entitled My House, it will have My best hip hoppers, Emily, Gabe, Tati, Sean, Bailey, Josh, Will, Kenneth and my new dancer Kaitlin" she said. "And the duet is going to be.. Kenneth and Kaitlyn" I stopped my smiling and stood in silence, all of the squad looked at me. Kenneth and I are duet partners, we are undefeated. Why Kaitlyn! "It will be a hip hop duet entitled Work from Home" I raised my hand "Excuse me miss Abby" I said. "Yes Emily" she said. "Umm.. I'm Kenneth's duet partner" I said holding back my tears. "I know.. but it's time for a change" I stopped and saw Kaitlyn giving me a bad look. "Ok.." I said walking out of the studio. I can't believe this.. Kenneth is my duet partner. I'm not being selfish but we are duet partners and we have been dancing together since forever. I walked home crying. Kaitlyn is a bitch!
