Chapter 2- "I Think I'm in Love Again!"

Kenneth's POV
I feel uncomfortable working with Kaitlyn, i mean she's an amazing dancer but she isn't Emily, she isn't my duet partner. We have been in the studio practicing our duet for about an hour now and there is no sight of Emily. Kaitlyn is having trouble with hip hop and it is hard to work with someone who doesn't just get it straight up. "Take 5" said Miss Abby. "Have you guys seen Emily?" I asked the squad. "No" they answered. Emily just walked in.. "hey guys" She said. "Emily!" We shouted hugging her.
Emily's POV
When I walked in I noticed Kaitlyn sitting over in the corner by herself. I have to be nice, I mean she's new. I walked over to her "hey Kaitlyn" I said. "What do you want?" She asked in a mad tone. "Woah woah back up lady!" I said to her. "What do you want?" She asked again. "I just saw you sitting alone and wanted to know if you wanted to hang out with our squad" I said. "No" she said. "Ok" I said walking away, I went back over to the squad and sat down next to Ken. "What did she say?" He asked. "She sai-" I was interrupted. "Oh you didn't tell me Kenneth was in your squad.. of course I'll hang out with you guys" Kaitlyn said. She likes Kenneth. "Ok?" I said confused. BITCH! "Umm.." Tati muttered. "Awkward..." said Gabe. We walked into the studio to watch rehearsal and Kaitlyn wasn't doing well with hip hop, she was struggling. "Ummm.. miss Abby do you think I could show Kaitlyn, you know so she can see another girl do the choreo?" I asked. "Why not" she answered. "Pfft" Kaitlyn said walking past me . I looked at Kenneth and he was smiling, I danced my heart out to prove to miss Abby we are unstoppable! When we stopped I was looking into Kenneth's eyes and they are the most beautiful things I have ever seen. We stood there for a bit until everyone interrupted with loud applause. Omg! I think I love Kenneth! 😳 "that was amazing, now if Kaitlyn could do hip hop like that..." she said. "I won't let you down miss Abby" Kaitlyn said pushing me out of the way, "ouch" I whispered. I walked over to the squad who was sitting in the corner and sat next to Gabe. "I hate that bitch" I whispered so no one would hear me. After a while of the duet we started the group, I had a solo part at the start since it was more leg lift kinda. "Dun, dun, dun, duh, dun dun" that was kinda the rhythm. "Open up the champagne, pop" we would all duck down and I would do a standing back tuck. "It's my house come on turn it up". After a while of hard practice, we decided to go get ice cream. We were walking down the street eating our ice cream and I started singing. "Times been ticking, hearts are running, think that cupids up to something" I sang then heard a voice behind me. "You ask me how I feel I say nothing" Kenneth sang. He has such a beautiful voice. "But lately colors seem so bright and the stars light up the night, my feet they feel so light, I'm ignoring all the signs" we sang together as we danced down the street. "I think I'm in love again" I slowly sang as I finished the song ending up staring into Ken's eyes AGAIN this time with his hands on my hips. "#Goals" said Gabe. Kenneth's beautiful brown eyes making me so happy inside. I really do like Kenneth. 😳
Kenneth's POV
I stared into Emily's beautiful blue eyes, they make me so happy inside. Do I like Emily? 😳 I do. 😳 I love her.
Emily's POV
I started to feel a spark as we were about to lean in, my head started to tilt when.. "okay enough of that.." Kaitlyn said pulling us apart. Did we just nearly kiss? Why did Kaitlyn have to ruin it!?!
